Good story,
I'll add one that I have just so you don't feel bad.
I used to work for a mega gaint corp. that is a big retailer in the country. Having said that I'll tell ya that they wanted everything done "NOW" not tommarow first thing, or as soon as possible, but, if you wanted to get anywhere in the company you did everything "NOW." Anyway, I was working late one night on a huge display that required us to use some short sections of steel rack to hold the upper section of merchandise. While I was up on top of this steel walking on boards that are barley secured I somehow lost my balance and when I went to grab the pole that I thought was in arm distance it was no where that I thought it was. So now I'm falling head first towards the ground off the 10' section of steel. As they say "I saw my life flash before my eyes." I guess it wasn't my day to get hurt because my pant leg got caught on a cut section of the upright. My pants tore from my knee area to the bottom section that keeps it all from coming apart. There I was dangling from the upright thinking how in the H*ll it I just do that? My boss had to come over and cut my pant leg off the upright while I lifted up on some stacked up pallets. Luckily I was totally unhurt other than my pride was slighty damaged.
