  1. Gasket was ovaled before it went on the car.....
  2. The injectors were purchased new and are Bosch so the quality should be good. But the plugs are reading good and even.
  3. Well they are Volks so...... I just thought it was sweet to see another RWD offset wheel for our cars!
  4. The gasket matches the block......not the problem but thanks.
  5. Volk Racing is bringing something new back to the old school. Volk Racing has just released info about the upcoming TE37V for all you old school Toyota and Datsun / Nissan junkies. The TE37V is a deep lip, super low offset, 1-piece mold forged wheel utilizing the 4-114.3 lug pattern. These wheels are scheduled to finish production in March 2010 so ETA to USA will be end of April. Preorder your set now to be one of the first to rock these new kicks.
  6. Ok. the pics of the last gasket failure that made it 3-4 miles and one 2nd gear pull.
  7. ^^^ If the owner dont post it up here it aint going on the list. Sorry.
  8. Tamiya Hi-Lift on the left. Tamiya 1/10 Mitsubishi Pajero on the right.
  9. Start looking around, begging, pleading. Ask for any know running L28. So many people just about have to give them away sometimes. Craigslist is your friend. Find a parts car for $200, yank the motor. Sell the rest. Make money back. Easy as pie.
  10. I have a JSK barbed rail in perfect shape. $75+ship+ $175 w/supra 440cc inj. 1500 miles on them. Purchased New. Bosch. Slow Old Car sells TB spacers I think.
  11. Wow, thats crazy. Might try switching them around.
  12. Ok, the head gasket needs to be replaced......now what was the cause? Fix that! If its a stock build just throw a head gasket on there.
  13. I think I already stated it but.... it is a fresh head this time around as the last time it melted the deck between 3 and 4. But is is back and running so yeah, I took some pics of the gasket and it blew the side out of number 5.
  14. All the tuning is done on a POS dell that does not even have WLAN. Its runs just good enough to do the job, not sure I can get in on the internet but I will try. I have 2 other laptops that just dont seem to want to comunicate with the msns. I stated above I am going to double check timming as I have to do the oil pump gasket anyway.
  15. lol..... Anyway. Got the car all back together the other day. Finally drove it today and POP. Fresh Nissan HG dead. Got maybe 3 miles out of this one. So pretty much gonna burn this car to the ground! Not really. Gonna double check the timming again since the oil pump gasket is leaking. I added some fuel @ peak tq but did not pull any timming to I will have it apart and back together before Sunday si I will report back.
  16. What clutch? Yes the 3.36 will be a bit sluggish on a factory turbo motor. Get a wideband o2. Check the timming. then get the afm tuned.
  17. If I could not break the original mounts in my 79 280zx back in high school, then there is no way you can break them with an l24 that is mostly stock. I beat the ever loving crap out of that car. Went to the drag strip nearly every weekend. I just dont see it happening. There has to be something else going on.
  18. Wow! I have had the same mounts for 8yrs.....
  19. Well, I was duking it out with a single turbo built g35......kept turning up the boost till pfffttt. Junkyard motor that was rebuilt by some previous owner. The car was on the dyno being tuned.
  20. sounds good to me. Gonna pull a deg of timming out of the whole thing and fatten it up some around peak tq.
  21. I would never step back in that Autozone! Isnt it amazing what google can do for you? http://www.seafoamsales.com/
  22. A single turbo would likely be easier. Please tell us what it is you want in the car as a whole. Do you care if they are top mount turbos that stick out of the hood? Do you want carbs or EFI. Please tell us what you want before we can atleast help to steer you in the right direction.
