  1. I am not familiar with searches, but it seems to me that ZCar.Com site using google and it does a better job.
  2. Received an email from Courtesy Nissan in Dallas area. They apparently found some NOS parts somewhere. I purchased a gas tank float gauge for $39.95 plus shipping. An Ebay seller had same part at a bid of $46.00 and it had not reached reserve. Other parts available. Might save a little money. Now if they could find some new wiring.
  3. My 80 y.o. brother had a kidney removed due to cancer and 6 yrs later the remaining kidney is doing the job. Many people have 1 functioning kidney because of trauma, cancer, birth and they do o.k. One thing I truly believe in is 2nd and 3rd opinions from doctors in towns with major medical centers. If you live in Cambridge, Mass, there are plenty around you. Get referrals and check them out. I wish you the best.
  4. Bought my early 260Z in 1980 for $2500 (the sticker $2900) Immediately put $2000 (1980 dollars) in it with 4 bl Holley/manifold), suspension, radio, and assorted. Took it to Turbo Tom a couple of times and spent $10K-12K in '90's dollars and now different turbo, Mega-squirt, etc by slow_old_car and friends for approx. total of $18K-$20K. But, I didn't keep good records. Better that way.
  5. Congratulations. Nothing to compare's with getting your first house, except your first kid. Reality sets in when it is time to do the house maintenance. Nice house.
  6. Has someone actually seen one on the streets?
  7. When You Consider All Of The 1st Class Mail And Packages Usps Handles, I Think They Do A Ok Job. Having Said That I Do Have Problems With The Delivery Person At My Office. Our Mail Goes Everywhere In The Complex And Vice-versa.
  8. Pallnet no longer has the spacer on his web site.
  9. How do you determine or get a coarser filter. I have used a regular fuel filter in the past but don't remember having problem or even thought of it as a problem.
  10. Where do you guys find deals on these seats? All the bone yards in Houston wants $200-400 each.
  11. I had a problem with a Turbo Tom exhaust manifold. After 3 different exhause gaskets (including 2 Nissan gaskets I decided to try something else. The problem was a casting error and Tom must had a problem too. There was not enough metal for the gasket material to cover the #6 exhaust outlet. I used some 12gauge solid copper wire to fashion a copper gasket held with hi-temp silicone. Worked well until I decided to do something else.
  12. Thanks for everyone's reply
  13. No, Ebay Stock Supra Injectors. Got Two Sets, One, Well Cleaned The Other No So Well Cleaned. The Issue Is That I Had Bought A Set On Ebay Previously And They Are Now Leaking Into The Cylinder Walls When Car Is Off. So, I Want To Make Sure The Next Set I Used Are Well Inspected And Parts Replaced As Needed.
  14. I researched this company on this forum and not found any late info. I am ready to send some ebay 440 injectors to them. Any problems since 2007? Thanks
  15. Everything tied down. Cars put up, 2-12 packs of Heineken Light. I'm ready!
  16. I think also available thru JC Whitney. I have attempted to use the real OEM (Nissan) twice in the past and there has to be technique to applying this stuff. Without exception every installation that I have seen has problems.
  17. Anybody noticed that this thread is over 7 yrs old?
  18. I, also have had one for several yrs. With my front end lowered slightly, I have to use a scissor jack to get the car up to use this jack. It is cheap and for the casual user it is ok. More than that, it is a pain to use. It looks rough but it does the job for me.
  19. WOW! Looks better than new. When I can I send you mine!?
  20. Could you re-state your question or request with appropriate punctuation, please?
  21. When my 260Z underwent Turbo Tom's transformation in 1996, Tom installed rear Holden caliper and pads. Well that was a long time ago. I remember looking in his parts book when I went to get my car back. Now I am looking to possibly rebuilding the calipers after sitting for about 9 yrs. Question: How are they be identified? Since American GM cars shared some parts with the Aussie Holden, what are the chances of finding the parts in the U.S.? Thanks for any help.
  22. I have made 2 purchases from members (ktm and austin) and so far no problem. That is a total of over $1,000. But I did send someone some parts with the promise that he would make a $20.00 donation to the site and he never did. (I'll give no names but he uses a picture of crying fat guy) However, I have had several problems with Ebay sales. One for a couple of hundred dollars.
  23. I have the louvers but off the car. The product was made by a San Antonio, Tx company called Kobel. When I tried to order parts from them about 10 yrs ago, they had to look up the product to make sure they still had the items. They are great to shade the biggest sun soaker and vision was very good. I haven't tried to look them up again. They were sold thru the old J.C. Whitney and was shipped directly from the factory. This is the only way I found who they were. The are aluminum and are not heavy. If this is a real issue I can weigh mine with all the parts. The hinges are plastic and will break when lifted too much. The attachment points (sheet metal) are slid thru under the rubber into the window channel underneath. They didn't rattle. I had no issue with them except the hinges broke. I might use it again, when I get my daily driver finished. The key was/is metal.
  24. MikeZcar. Your setup must an early kit. Tom installed mine back in '94 and it was setup with the Electromotive ignition with retard, water injection but I opted out of the nitrous. If Tom "O" ringed the head, I also don't know why he (if it was him) installed double gaskets. The "O" ring would hold just about anything. I had way too much heat that bubbled the paint constantly, so I did change over to fuel injection and Megasquirt. When Tom died, all of that knowledge was lost. Another reason I switched.
