  1. Don't use the white Teflon tape, use the yellow thats rated for gas. Are you really asking about PST or do you mean TFE? Either way if it it properly threaded BPT or SPT it shouldn't leak once tight.. I made my own rail with SPT and it sealed perfectly after tightening the fittings. That was for the barbed injector fittings and for the ends I welded on AN fittings.
  2. WOW, thats a lot of rust. Your only real option is to cut it out and weld new metal in.. Or buy a rust free donor car and swap the goodies over.
  3. Nice #'s, I'm sure she'll give you some more with a little bit of coaxing.
  4. Sorry to tell you but it won't work. Should always do your research before shopping.
  5. I highly doubt you could find a Z in the junkyard in Finland.. lol
  6. I'm sure you want the whole wheel and not just the rim right?? lol
  7. The diameter of the springs is also different. If you need the early style, I will trade you as I need the later and have a set of tokico struts and springs for the pre 74 1/2. I also have a set of Suspension Techniques sway bars for the early models. All parts are brand new. E-Mail me if interested Sweetleaf1978@hotmail.com
  8. Still curious, did you ever check the wipe patterns when you installed the cam?
  9. Well your Q45 TB is overkill, were you even able to port match it to the intake? The compression definately seems high, even for 5 psi but I would say your biggest limiting factor is the stock injectors. What are the specs on you cam? That combined with the other build parameters, should determine when to shift.
  10. There is a huge amount of different bolt's on the car. Too many to just list for you. A lot of them also have special collars etc. The length's also vary greatly. Yes most range from 6m-14m at 1.25-1.75 pitch but you will need a huge selection if you are just going to get a random assortment . I was going to do the same and started measuring them out with a thread gauge and calipers but after I got past like 60 some different ones I gave up lol. I bought the stainless sets from the ebay seller and have to say I'm very pleased with the quality.
  11. Put some smaller diameter wheels on with good rubber and drop the pressures. If you have a set of stock 14"'s use them. You definately may want to stiffen up the rear too.
  12. This is the style you want. This is probably not the best one but it's what your looking for. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TURBO-INTERCOOLER-18x6x3-5-Mustang-Supra-Bar-and-Plate_W0QQitemZ270151846102QQihZ017QQcategoryZ33742QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  13. Dosen't look too bad but the i/o is definately not on the same side..
  14. Nice polishing job.. I'd leave them bear and just maintain them. You could put a clear powder coat on them though.
  15. Search for the homemade laser alignment tool..
  16. Well I'd personally go for the purple with a stripe, as it adds at least another 10 HP...
  17. BRAAP, When you talk about the pump running at lower pressure ie 3psi. How do you plan to lower the pressure. If you are talking about less restriction, ie open feed. Than yes it will not harm the pump and will probably prolong the life. Less resistance and more cooling makes for a happy pump ( : ..
  18. Looks great. Pictures weren't showing up last night.
  19. I'd just do the gasket for now. Pretty cheap and should only take you about an hour..
  20. You can also wrap it in plastic, put it in a box and fill with expanding foam.
