  1. Sound like your running lean. Could be a vaccumme leak. or lots of other things. You need to watch your FP under load. Check vaccumme lines , injector seals , manifold gasket etc...
  2. 1 fast z, is this scared rabbits intake?? If so, how come it hasn't been run yet. Didn't you build it like 2 years ago?
  3. Why would you have a cover on a good dash?
  4. Great that you got it fixed... ( : .. Hmm . Didn't I tell you to directly wire the pump before??
  5. Sounds more like an electrical problem.. Wire Your pump directly to the battery and go for a drive.
  6. Not sure if the stock turbo coil is any hotter than the N/A but an ignition coil is an ignition coil. It makes no diffrence. You can run any coil you want.
  7. Wher in Washington? Wouldn't happen to be in Ferndale would it?
  8. I really think you have a lot more learning to do before you start buying parts. Not trying to be an ass but lets start with the basics. What compression are you planing on running? What kind of a cam profile? etc.. We need all the basic engine specs before we can help.
  9. 1 fast Z is correct. Flow benches are like dynos. You need before and after comparisons on the same machine to see what kind of real gain was achived. Flow #'s is also not the endall to performance of a head, there is much more to consider.
  10. Give us numbers for compression, fuel pressure, timing, etc.. Then we can help you better..
  11. clean this up a bit and make it a sticky
  12. Just add a switched power and ground to the relay. As you have in the fig. If that dosn't work you know the problem is from there on.
  13. Don't guess. Put a gauge on it... lol. Why do so many people like throwing money away on tossing parts at a car . instead of doing quick cheap diagnostics. It's faster , easier and cheaper. Also solves the problem instead of giving you a headache. Maybe someone on this list in the area can help you properly diagnose it.
  14. Do you have an FSM?? Should have the procedure in there. If not.. Just pin out the TPS. I would recomend a scope to get a real trace through the full sweep but you can use a DVOM and get pretty accurate results. For your FP just put a guage before the regulator.
  15. Have you tested the TPS trace? What about fuel pressure? It's always better/cheaper to test parts instead of throwing parts at it.
  16. Dam thats one hell of a find. Bet those cars are worth way more than he payed for the farm.
  17. First thing, toss the bosch platinums and put the proper NGK's in. Then I would inspect the cap and rotor for wear. It really could be a million things, without more info it's hard to diagnose. But I would do a general tune up. Replace plugs, wires , cap , rotor, fuel filter. Test Fuel pressure and set timing. Carefully inspect all the vacume lines for cracks/leaks.
  18. WTF.. LOL thats great... "It's like Steve Erkle and David Hasselhoff got unleashed in the "Pimp My Ride" garage" Love it..
  19. Yeah, you gotta love the city. My new garage only took about a week to build but the dam permits took almost a year.
  20. It's basicly a complete overhaul, if you want to do it right. As far as I know. No one makes an after market plug in harness. Yes, it's a ton of work but well worth it. Do it once, do it right and be done. How long it takes all depends on you.
  21. No, you will need to cut, strip, solder, and heatshrink.
  22. Did you have your flywheel resurfaced last time?
