    was prepping the car to get towed to a shop to get welding/exhaust done... spin one rear tire, other one doesn't spin.... at all. I don't have the Z in my possession now to pull the diff out and see what's going on, but any thoughts/ideas? this is a nissan turbo r200 clutch lsd.

    not worth it to buy a JY rotary. Very high chance that the rotor and side housings are shot. If not from a blown apex, then from rust and corrosion etching their way into the chrome. It'd be a better idea to buy a crappy beat up rx7 for ~400-500 that's still running and has good compression, pull that motor and rebuild it, part out rest of the car

    the rail looks to be relatively intact. I'm not seeing signs of severe rust, so it's not structurally weakened by the cancer. If it's a concern, I would take it to a body shop to put on a frame rack to determine if the chassis isn't straight. Worst case scenario, weld in replacement bar for reinforcement
