  1. I have a 71 240 and a 75 280 AC car, the 71 has the Civic blower in it and it whips up a storm compared to the 75 that has the stock AC. The civic blower is one wire but has the speeds controlled by the blower switch that must have resistors for the different speeds. Here is a link to info on both the Civic and Ford heater blowers. http://www.zcar.com/forums/search.php?f=1&search=civic+blower&globalsearch=1&match=1&date=0&fldsubject=1&fldbody=1
  2. Heater blower motor and squirl cage from a 88 HONDA Civic CRX is a direct bolt in swap and works well.
  3. How fast can you say HALF LIFE?
  4. The R180 has a aluminum plate bolted to the differential that the axles pass through. It can be seen in the picture, The R200 does not have the plate. The R180 has 10MM studs in the rear cover where the R200 has 12 MM studs. The R180 has the studs closer together than the R200.
  5. In a R200 non LSD you will see the cross shaft for the spiders when you look in the axle hole. These pictures are of a R200LSD with clutches (What you want) http://12.224.138.77:8884/files/datsun/Diff/lsdside3.jpg http://12.224.138.77:8884/files/datsun/Diff/lsdside1.jpg This is a Viscious R200LSD (notice the much smaller hole) http://12.224.138.77:8884/files/datsun/Diff/viscousside.jpg
  6. If its a clutch type LSD you can look clear through it from one axle hole to the other.
  7. I have been using a browser called Advant for a couple months. It eliminates unwanted pop-up pages automatically and best of all its free. http://avantbrowser.com/
  8. I have a bunch of pictures of the different ways the subframe connectors have been installed. Click here

How about the old movie Two Lane Blacktop, any body else here remember it?
  10. The bushings in the mustache bars are the same. I did the same swap in my 71 and just used the 280 mustache bar and the R200 front diff mount.

    R200 Swap on a 260Z

The R200 mustache bar is positioned so that it is behind the risers that the transverse link brace is bolted to. With a R180 the mustache bar is in front of the risers.
  15. A R180 has a aluminum plate held on with 5 bolts on the side of the diff just behind the axles, the axles pass through the plate. On a R200 there is not any plate behind the axles.
  16. The 2+2 has a R200 in it and that mustache bar will not work on your R180. If the 2+2 had a good R200 in it why not use it also?
  17. The pinion flanges will not interchange.
  18. The 280 front crossmember is wider than 240-260 ones. The wider front crossmember may have started with the with the late 260's.
  19. Its a 12MMX1.25Pitch same as a wheel stud
  20. The right side stub axle that goes into the R200 is the longer one.

  22. Chase, What did you use for the outer adapter where the CV bolts to the the stock axle flange? Is it welded or bolted to the axle flange? When you flipped the outer cage did you also flip the inner race?
