  1. Thanks, Sean and Jeff! Jeff, sorry if I missed it, but since I don't see it, make sure you answer the last question - kind of an unofficial question but this is it: IMPORTANT: Please choose one of the questions and elaborate on your answer in two one three sentences below. Thanks!
  2. lol no. Thanks for the consideration though! It does, thanks!
  3. If you can answer the questions accurately based on what you recall from your freshman year, it'll work.
  4. Thanks to all who participated!! I need these for a 12:15 class tomorrow so I'm no longer taking new entries.
  5. IIRC you get different paint for painting urethane so that that doesn't happen.
  6. I guess I can't argue that. I'm not very organized, so what I originally said made more sense to me and my poor organizational skills. I still don't like the "per month" bit though. Although, I'm not expecting people to create a new thread every time they sell an item and go to update. That would be silly. I can't think of any other reason why such a thing would be in place.
  7. I can't wait to see what the new paint looks like. I really like how this build is going.
  8. Youngblood, I recommend you reconsider the clean shells being offered to you. I understand your concern, but I think you're going overboard. Also, although I haven't dealt with him, sticky seems to be a pretty honest seller.
  9. I don't agree with the one FS thread/member/month rule. However, I agree that 20 threads for individual items is annoying, so I will propose this: A maximum of 5 current (ie, not closed, active) for sale threads per member. Personally I find throwing everything in one thread to be a bit unorganized. Most cases, it should be fine, but let's take this example. I have one 280zxt, one scrapped 240z, and misc parts from misc years. For that, I would prefer to put JUST the ZXT parts in one thread, all the scrapped 240Z parts in one thread, and every thing else in a third thread. Much more organized and easier to deal with IMO. And it's not like 5 threads from one user will clutter up the FS section like 20 will. I think this is a perfectly reasonable medium. My $.02.
  10. Looks like it's pitted to me, and therefore needs to be replaced.
  11. You can buy Zedd Findings floor pans from Zedd Findings...
  12. Update: My friend's problem was that two of the rod ends were swapped somehow.
  13. No real advice for you, but that sounds very similar to what happened to my friend. Rebuilt his motor, and I forget how he found it, but he went to turn it over, and it didn't. Tore it apart, put it back together, made sure it turned over, put it in the car and... you guessed it. He had a shop rebuild it the third time, don't think I ever found out what the problem was. Just like yours, it happened literally overnight.
  14. Sounds great! Is your L28 stock? I'm thinking your car will be pretty comparable to mine, except for yours being much, much nicer.
  15. That's a shame, but probably for the best. As you already found out, that car wasn't safe in that condition. You've said it was a series 1, what was the VIN? Curious.

  17. I don't know if that would be an issue, but those FG dashes are also meant for race use. They have no glove box, no vent cut outs, no heater/AC control mounts, etc. They are meant to house gauges only.
  18. I got the same problem. Posted it in the "site issues" thread Dan made.
  19. That's what I was talking about. I don't need a new frame.
  20. Provided the quality and price is good, I would probably be interested in a repro 70/71 dash.
  21. Yeah, it's a 72/73, can't tell which though since the pics kinda suck.
  22. I can't wait to get my car, also with triple webers, running again. Haven't really heard it since it came off the shipper's truck in early 2007
