    I wanna say it's just chassis flex. The doors on my parent's Z shut a little differently when jacked up, but are fine when sitting on the ground. Someone should confirm/correct that though.

    Except for the little problem of that being a RHD dash, and most cars here are LHD.

    Honestly, I think it would be best if we just allowed members to edit as long as they want. It was just one person who got upset and left, and ruined it for everyone.

    I hope you like the body work, or that Z will be a massive headache... Personally, I wouldn't touch it.

    It's pretty straight forward. IIRC, you pretty much just unbolt the shocks (easy), brake lines (easy), and then there's 3 huge bolts. One behind the diff, two towards the front. After that it should pretty much drop out.

    Agreed. Although my first Z was actually running, it needed work, and I tore it apart. What a stupid move. Then I bought a 240z to have something to drive... scrapped that, bought another last June, this one actually drivable, but still way rusty. I'm gonna play with it for a bit, but as soon as I can afford to, I'm buying a nice rust free Z.

    Sounds like you've got a nice car to start with, and a good game plan. I just turned 20 BTW, really cool to see more people around my age into Z cars.

    Some of your welds on that scrap piece look like they're only on one of the pieces. Take a look at the weld right before the one you circled.

    It is not the fault of the person in the office, there is no need to bring them into it by paying in pennies.

    Personally, just because I'm a little OCD, I don't like how the LS, SR, KA, etc. engines don't fill up the engine bay. The RB does, and looks right at home. Also, personally, I prefer the sound of the RB over the SR. I think I6s are some of the best sounding engines, period. I understand these are both about form, but I prefer form AND function. BTW, have you weighed your car? I am curious as to how much it weighs, and the F/R percents/bias.

    You should reconsider. You will spend a lot more money fixing it than just getting a new one.

    I was with you up until here... On here, no they aren't. They're here for a reason, every single one of them. Follow them if you want to enjoy your stay, because if you don't, you will find your time here anything but pleasant. They are all pretty simple rules BTW, so you should have no problem following them.

    Lol. My neighbors have like 2 goats, 4 chickens, 4 dogs, and 4 kids, and they had some petition thing go around to let them have the goats... not sure what happened with that though. Their lawn has gotta be over a foot high now though. It looks horrible. Fortunately, I got word they are moving. So soon? So sorry to see you go... Not. And for the record, again, I am not saying I want to pay HOA fees or live in an HOA. I just understand why others do.

    Chances are someone who buys that is going to be a Z enthusiast, and will know what it is.

    I can see it going for more than $15k. It's a very unique car. I wouldn't be surprised if it went for 20k-25k, or maybe even 30k for someone who really wanted it.
