  1. Of those three, I think Porsche Lapis Blue is the nicest, and I think the car would look good in that color. The Honda blue looks watered down to me. The third I just don't really care for. KenshinX, do you know what the name of the color is on that car?
  2. I wouldn't buy it. Along with all that's been mentioned above, it's got a sunroof. If it bothers you that it has one, it's just MUCH easier to just find a car without one. I almost bought one with a sunroof and I am glad I didn't.
  3. Yeah, I saw that a week ago! I was pretty surprised to see it. I was gonna make a thread but kinda... forgot. Whoops.
  4. Well, it would be for my 280z, so about the same era as the plate, as the plates are from 79 or so. I'll have to look into that though.
  5. I'm just as east as you are, and when I emailed him I got a reply within a couple hours.
  6. Are you saying you can use old plates on a new car? I've got some old blue NJ plates that I've been wanting to use vs. the ugly new reflective yellow plates we have.
  7. +1. Was happening most of today.
  8. Well, you have to enter your birth date when you register, and I'm guessing they somehow got ahold of that... but I'm pretty sure they weren't supposed to...
  9. Since I take it you're talking about the spammers, I'm kind of curious about them, since we've gotten an uprising of spammers on another forum I frequent around the same time frame. One even posted an ad for the tool they use to mass-spam forums LOL. Remember, there's a LOT of members on here that aren't regular posters, and only a fraction of the forum voted in the poll. And who's to say everyone voted honestly.
  10. That must be a record in this economy. Congrats on selling!
  11. Just drill out the spot welds where the brackets are mounted to the rest of the car. Weld up any holes that are left from drilling out the spot welds. Grind smooth, and you should be good to go. It's not part of the body work, so I personally wouldn't bother with body filler.
  12. I have a '76 280Z as well, and I plan on 240Z bumpers, turn signals, grill, etc. I will be cutting off the brackets. I don't see why I shouldn't.

  14. Gorgeous. IMO, slightly resembles a Z too. I think the car is going to sell very well. Now... who's gonna be the first to do an LSx swap?
  15. Hope it works out. Would be nice to have another track within a reasonable distance from home.
  16. At least it's easy to follow your wiring, right?
  17. It's already been done. I don't remember his username but I think it was Z2000, try searching for it.
  18. Thanks! I'll download that once I get this all figured out. I did manage to find a backup of all my bookmarks from 3/16, although I had added quite a few in the last four days. Since I'm logged into all the sites I frequent, I think it might be fixable... don't know yet. If anyone else has any ideas, let me know.
  19. I'm hoping I won't have to start from scratch. Here's what happened: Turn on computer (from sleep) with everything working, then I try to connect to my wireless internet and it just gets hung up and I can't stop it or close it, or even restart the computer, so I forcefully turn it off. Turn it back on, and it looks like I just did a fresh install of Firefox, which I did not. All my bookmarks, etc are gone, yet when I came here, I was logged in? Strange. I tried doing a system restore twice and it didn't work either time. I'm not a computer wizard or anything, so I'm pretty much out of ideas. If anyone could help me restore Firefox to the way it was yesterday I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
  20. Man, no kidding. Personalized plates are only $94 here.
  21. Dark red? Sounds like the '78 280z I tried to buy 2.5 years ago, which was from MD. I believe the (former?) owner is "daddsun" on here.
  22. I just right click, open in new tab for attachments.
