  1. Good to hear it's all working out, and also good for him for speaking up.
  2. Putting tape on their feet is fun too. Not that I would know.
  3. Gotcha. On most other forums I'm on, new posts does that too, which can get annoying since sometimes threads I've already read will still come up as "new." This system is a little inconvenient sometimes, but I like it better for the most part.
  4. What exactly was the difference? Only difference I can tell is that New Posts wouldn't have a 24hr cut off, so it essentially does the same thing. IIRC, we had the Last 24hrs button, Last 3 days, Last week, and New Posts, which is essentially four of the same button as far as I can tell...
  5. Do you know how long he's doing this? I have one, just can't get to it very soon. Might be able to get to it in 2 weeks, at the soonest.
  6. I did something similar while playing with my rotisserie, only with my pinky finger and not as bad. Still hurt though...
  7. Haha, yeah, but I'm guessing you'd get a fixit ticket for that anyway, which defeats the point of rolling your windows down in the first place.
  8. Good advice. Something I learned (still learning actually) the hard way.
  9. Wouldn't be hard for them to ask you to roll your windows up...
  10. Ah, this is the one I was talking about: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Big-Turbo-900hp-3800ccbmw_27866.htm
  11. Unless it has no rust whatsoever. I didn't see any. Car looks complete and original as well. With some work, I bet that paint would look pretty nice too. While I would generally agree with Challenger, that looks like a GREAT base to start with, IMO. I wouldn't have much issue with paying $2000 for that car, but lets see what others have to say. Oh, and I would put suspension ahead of clutch.
  12. Wow, that looks fantastic, and it looks pretty original too!
  13. I hadn't used it until now, but I see what you mean. Kind of defeats the point of the quick reply. Pretty annoying.
  14. Is the glass half full or half empty? Optimist: Half full Pessimist: Half empty Engineer: Glass is twice as big as it needs to be
  15. Sounds like you've burnt yourself out on Z cars. After all, you do have six of them. Personally, I'd sell a few to cut down to 3 or 4, ditch the 280z project, and buy something new.
  16. Uh, my car is just a bare, rusted shell... can I still play? As for your car (zeeyah), rear flares and wheels. The rest is good As for Austins car... the exhaust. The new exhaust looks like it needs to be a little bit longer. That's it, seeing how his car is the inspiration for mine.
  17. I'd say do the first, and replace CA18DET with LSx - no turbo. You'll probably find just a stock LS1 is enough.
  18. Widest tire I've seen put on an unflared S30 is a 275. This was on a 17" rim, with coilovers and rolled fenders.
  19. You might try uploading your pictures to http://photobucket.com/
  20. Glad you learned your lesson the relatively easy way. My dad has ALWAYS stressed use of safety glasses when using many things besides just grinders, and this is why. Even while working under a rusty car it's a good idea to use glasses. I've had rust and dirt fall into my eyes MANY times (I can't imagine why, lol)
  21. #5200 would be made in/around April or May of 1970. From what I've seen, they started to title them as '71 cars around the 9000-10000 range, probably later. I recall seeing a '70 car for sale that was #106xx. And +1 on the damage on #230. If all it has is a little front end damage, it should definitely be fixed, and not scrapped.
