pics available? there are also some unique features to the rear tail light panel, as well as the hood, which was mentioned. You can try to google the serial numbers, and see if anything comes up. Car-Fax usually will give a general 'year, make model' from a vin number.

stock tail lights? Have you tried new bulbs/cleaning connections? I know it sounds stupid, but sometimes that's all it takes.

in all fairness to him though, the radiator is sealed on those trucks (im pretty sure), and there is a fancy little resevoir not really all that close to the radiator. If he just saw pinkish fluid and figured 2+2=4 then I cant really blame him. Toyota is the only company that uses that red coolant that I know of

If you get a Haynes manual, it will give you a ton of great info, and answers to questions like this. I dont have any pictures available atm, but there is a 'mixture screw' of sorts on the side of the AFM. It might have a small rubber plug covering it, or it might not. Should be on the drivers side of it, sort of near the bottom on the side. You can play with that to get a bit of mixture adjustment. There are other ways as well that I havn't used.

I'm really excited for this car. I've read a lot of people talking about how its Hyundai and that should be reason enough not to get it. IMHO I think its a pretty impressive car, and should be a good value for the money from what I've seen. But regardless of what it will actually bring, I am even more excited for the pressure it's putting on the other auto makers to revamp their cheap sports coupe cars. I've already been hearing hush-hush talk from some friends at the local Nissan about possibly the new S16 coming out in the next couple years. I think that's where the genesis' value really is. Pushing others to come up with a response.
