  1. Well, I CAN tell you that a 1000hp TTV6 RX7 can break loose 335/35s at will at any speed in any one of the 6 ZF gears . It's especially fun at 75 MPH laying 2 black lines on the freeway (with a professional driver behind the wheel...my Dad). Tim
  2. Nah...I vote for Charlize Theron!! Tim
  3. PA cops huh? Must be the Keystone cops!! ha ha
  4. The later 240s and the 260s had an electric pump and a mechanical pump (to overcome vapor lock I believe.) You could swap in a newer tank from a FI 280Z, or keep your tank and upgrade the ports and lines. I don't believe the stock fuel lines are large enough. You could maybe use the stock feed line for the LT1 return line. Do a search....some guys have installed sumps to the bottom of the stock tank. Tim
  5. Search and ye shall receive (info) Lots of good tech details in the archives. Tim

  7. If your IC fins are very bent, you can buy a 'comb' to straighten them The screwdriver will work, but can be very time consuming if you have a lot of bent fins. Tim
  8. Have someone rev the car while you are standing behind it. Or hold the palm of your hand a couple of inches away from the tailpipe and have someone rev it. If you hand get blackened by soot, then it's running too rich. Tim
  9. Blueish smoke is usually oil burning. Too much fuel is usually black smoke. Glad to hear you found the problem!! 8) Tim

  11. Here you go: KC Auto Dismantlers 9597 Glenoaks Boulevard, Sun Valley, CA (818) 768-9715 This is a cash only operation.... If you are looking for a Q45 engine, they have piles and piles of them!! Tim

  15. Bryan, If you want to take a ride down the 405 tomorrow, I can snap some pics for you and host them. (BTW, that's why I suggested White. It would have hidden many of those dings) Tim
  16. Depending on the extent of the problem at the roof line, you may want to get a pro to do it. Weld on the roof, it will warp and you will chase it with filler for weeks. the roof is the absolute worst place for a repair!!! Hope it's not to bad. Maybe you will be able to just wore brush the rust, metal prep it and fill with filler. That is going to be your best case scenario.... Tim

  18. KC Nissan yard in Sun Valley CA had a brand new 350Z in the yard that was lightly rolled (still had the DMV paper in the window). Call them for a price. I'll see if I can dig up the number if you're interested. I was there a couple of weeks ago to pick up another set of Q45 shafts. Tim
  19. Maybe, just maybe, if you ask if any of our members are anywhere near where the cars are located, they can have a look and give you an unbiased opinion. Maybe throw in a couple of 'pretty pleases'. Tim

  22. Holy sh!t....$130 for a bumper!!!! I made a Aluminum plate mount for the front mounts. The sides mount into the bottom of the buckets. The brackets were just strips of aluminum bent into a "S". It doesn't have to be very strong because the bumper is so light. here is a picture: Tim
