  1. Well, I went and did it.... Two days ago I bid on a brand new Millermatic 135 and won it for $531. I went and picked it up, but have not done anything with it but open the box and look at it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=012&item=220012775908&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 Today, I check in on a Craftsman welder I bid on the other day just to see how high the bids were, and ended up winning it for $185. It looks to be a very nice welder for the money. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=009&item=190016479888&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 Question.... what would you do, keep the Miller and sell the Craftsmen, or sell the Craftsmen? I'd kinda like to keep the one that cost me the least, cause I know I can turn right around and get my money back on the Miller, but I don't want to settle for the Craftsmen if its not a good welder for the kinda work I will do with it ( just body work, and very light repair stuff). Again, which would you keep, and which would you sell?? thanks in advance - joel

  4. After listening to everybodys advice, I went ahesd and got this one off ebay> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=012&item=220012775908&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1. I think I did pretty good considering I was close enough to pick it up in Orange Tx. So all the cash I saved on this deal went to all the extras you need to use one properly.

Hey Joel, I calculated the shipping to 70605, which came out to approx $130. I will go half way with you, so a buy it now price of $685. Let me know if this works and I will set it up. Thanks much, .

  21. After reading thru alot of the posts in the archives, it seems that a few here a happy with their Miller 135. I was going for the 175 due to most posts saying its the only way to go. I need to know if its a mistake to settle for the 110v vrs the 220v. I'd have to have my bro (electrician)wire me up for 220v, but if the Miller 135 @ 110v will handle minor panel work, brackets and exhaust pipe stuff, would it be a BIG mistake to go with the 135?
