  1. Sitting in a motel waiting till time to head down to the Alltell Arena in North Little Rock AR to see the Bad Boys of Rock again.... It's colder than a well diggers a$$ here..... AC/DC
  2. Another great show... I was so close it was unreal. I took around 50 pics, and tried to get away with some vid's but they kept catching me and telling me to stop. I managed to get a few short clips. My seat was seat #1, up against the runway/catwalk. I actually managed to get a hand shake from the singer as he was using the catwalk during the show!! It may not seem that big a deal to all you youngsters, that did not grow up on AC/DC's music, but this simple hand slap/shake during the concert, made my night... Anyhoo... I'm back at the room till the a.m., then my brother and I will head back to Louisiana... Later
  3. I'm in Dallas tonight at a motel, fixing to head over to the American Airlines Center to see AC/DC again. I saw them in Houston last month, and will be heading to Little Rock this coming Wed. to see them for the last time this tour...
  4. Can you get a picture of that? I've gotta see that one for myself....
  5. I don't think anyone will touch that car for a $1,000. It would not suprise me if it takes at least $10,000....
  6. You are getting light leakage/flare out the sides of the lens on the HID projectors. You need to seal up the area around where the 3" lens fits into the rear of the 7" H4 housings. You should not have any light what so ever above your cut off line (as was shown on the garage door while the light was turned on). I think it will be perfect once you seal it up... Here is a shot of one of mine before I installed it
  7. Awesome job my friend!! I can't imagine the low end torque that is going to put out... ought to be a jean creamer!!
  8. Is it running a 26 or a 30? Looks like he has issues with keeping it headed strait...
  9. By the sound of it, I think they will make it right for you now.... . . .>
  10. I've had my female Toy Fox Terrier for 17 yrs now....
  11. Now that looks scrumptious... yummy
  12. I'll give you $75 for the hood... I need a vented one but they are hard to find.
  13. Long as you keep the input stubs that came in the VLSD orig., then you will just have to make up a pair of 1/2 shafts to attach to the VLSD input stubs and the wheel side companion flanges.... There are current threads dealing with this exact issue in the drive train section.
  14. That will work much better for you... looks great!
  15. The LoveFab is schedule 40 stainless steam pipe, so it's virtually bomb proof... The S-Tec is a mixture of a couple grades of stainless. I find it to be good quality, from what I can tell just from looking at it. Neither one has been fitted, so that part I can't vouch for. The LoveFab can be pried from my hands for $1,400... The S-Tec, I paid $400... I'm keeping my twin set up for now. I figured buying two new .64ar turbine housings and swapping them for the .86ar that are in the car now, will wake up my bottom end at a much cheaper cost than changing out the whole twin set up for a single GT35r. I want a little more power down low than the .86's are giving me right now. I think I'll be happy when I get these smaller ar turbine housings installed..
  16. Well, unless someone else can get these, looks like they are NLA. I emailed my source and received this info back from him.... " Dear rb26powered74zcar, I called Empi, this item has been discontinued. The only thing we can do is sell you a rebuild kit( rollers and bearings) for 44.95 from another manufacturer(part # 174-50 )let us know what you would like to do. - thecvman "
  17. Here is the box the last larger tripod I bought came in. I have a eBay contact that sells them to me. If we need some, I can try to get a decent price on them if no one else can... This part was a part called out by James Thagard in a post way back, giving out the parts needed to make up a hybrid axle when you use the 88 SS VLSD diff in a 240z.
  18. Awesome info! Long as the center shafts are a workable length, we are in luck with this set up...
  19. So are you saying there is another one of these axles you can source that comes with the tripod with a larger center bore/splined area that will replace the one shown in this pic?
  20. What is the reason for having a re-spline? Is the wheel end of the shaft spline larger than the tripod spline? If that's the case, I have a part number for a tripod that's a larger splined area. These were used when Thagard figured out how to make up a hybrid axle for the use of the 88 SS VLSD on the s30. This larger splined area tripod may be the answer to using this axle??
