  1. Same thing is happening in San Antonio as well.
  2. thanks Mike, I heard the same thing as well but I heard it from a very un reliable source that heard it from another even less reliable source.
  3. there is a member here that at one point in time had an early Z with a 80's honda sunroof installed. I looked into it and although I could not find the model he was using (he didnt know either) I found several that look like they might just be able to be grafted into the S30 Z sunroof. in the end though I settled on a genII RX7 I cut the entire unit out of the roof and paid 40$ for it I did some trial mock-ups and it appeared to be just right...unfortunately though the project was sold before I could finish her..... there are several nice factory sunroofs that could be cleanly installed by a competent body shop for less than what your looking at. personally I would go that route as the aftermarket electrics are not much better than the manual one your looking to replace.
  4. I've heard this recently as well but have yet to find anything on the TXDOT website that confirms this..Mike' date=' do you have any [i']real[/i] factual info on this, I really want to dump my front tag.

  6. I would be down for a set as long as it doesn't exceed 600$. polished lip with gunmetal centers please
  7. yeah its been done. I remember seeing pictures of it about two-three years ago. wasn't the cleanest install, but it was in there and running. and thumper, if I buy that motor I can just come and pick it up one weekend...I wouldnt want to pay the shipping on that!
  8. Thats an interesting point, but as you've also mentioned, pressure should be constant across the rail. I would think that if you start loosing pressure in the rail than you have a fuel pump /or regulator problem, as the regulator should keep pressure up as the injectors start dumping fuel. I am no expert (?) and would be interested in some flow calculations or Engineering mojo action on this topic. Although honestly, It seems to me with my little physics knowledge, that this setup would actually be better seeing as how the regulator is regulating pressure by dumping excess fuel instead of having to regulate an entire return line system post rail.
  9. Sure will, thats the same way I ran mine.
  10. If nobody wants this, I am very interested!
  11. looks good Austin, love that intercooler! are you going to try and make it to SEZ in march? Mike, how about you? I wouldn't have made it this last time but feel confident that I can get the car tuned and buttoned up by march...would be cool to finally meet some more like-minded hybridZ peeps.
  12. I run mine open and wouldnt have it any other way, the sound when the WG opens is INCREDIBLE, like my engine is shooting out a jet propelled swarm of angry bees. I'm running a 1.5 foot length of 1 1/4 inch tubing that dumps one slightly lower than the cross member just forward of the drivers side footwell. (this may change) I've noticed no performance or reliability issues...yet. im running a deltagate now but will switch to a tial when I upgrade to the T66.
  13. Nice write up Hizandherz, an excellent first post. Welcome to the site!
  14. thats a smokin deal, crap! wish I would have seen that...I could have scraped together the cash. good score!
  15. ok, this isnt exactly what your looking for but the premise is the same this was temporary and now im using a single side feed. the gentlemen that painted my car jacked up the car by the gas tank though and now I must weld in a new sump and install it on my NEW 240Z tank.
  16. Brad, with the green RB26 Z, here is his profile and carddomain page: http://forums.hybridz.org/member.php?userid=8435 http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/709284/2 pictures are there. last time I spoke with him he was still making them, hope this hasnt changed as I still intend on buying one of his sumps.
  17. from that site: um-huh....
  18. ugh I so want those wheels! 1200$$ I just cannot justify spending that much money on 15" wheels.
  19. hey Chris! are you finally getting settled in? I totally understand about your lack of time, its all good. Mike got that turbo to me several weeks ago, I will definitely be able to use it! thats for your input, Im looking at the E6x and in all honesty leaning in favor of that unit. if you could donate a map and wiring schematic that would be most helpful. no rush though as I wont really have time to install it until thanksgiving-ish. I found a shop in austin that sells, tunes and installs so Im becoming more confident that I will be making the right choice, although I really really like the idea of a handheld controller AND laptop control options....(I don't have a Windoze box....Gooooooooo MAC!) good to hear from you, I'm hoping to do some driving schools at motorsports ranch this coming spring, we should keep in touch and try to make something happen!
  20. is that a 152 on a road course? cant imagine how hard it is steering with the rudder peddles there.
  21. BMW hands down. the A4 is nice, but is plagued with electrical problems
  22. thats your first sign right there to be leery. the buyer might be trying to rush you so that you overlook something. use a real escrow company of your choice or that someone you know may have used. its your car, set the terms that make you comfortable and stick with them, if the potential buyer has a problem with perfectly reasonable terms than move on. there is someone in your area that wants a turbo 240Z, you just have to be patient and find them. personally, I'm insistent that buyer see cars first, I may have overlooked something or not mention something that I don't consider a problem or big deal while the buyer may. this prevents many headaches in the future and also makes the buyer feel good about his purchase. good luck man!
  23. I went ahead and pointed out any areas of concern in the picture below:
