updates?

Bob do you have any info on the TT that you had? Cam? Motor work? Any video? How was your throttle response? I am trying to figure where I would be as far as HP on my set-up. I will be in CC for the beach to bay race in May. I go every year.

I am about to tear into my car in the coming weeks. ( I close on my new place in May and will finish the garage before I move in)I Like GeeZ( I have a place in Spring. Close to you now) have a TT car here in Houston. My manifold is diferent than yours. Both my exhaust and intake are a little different. I am considering having my exhaust remade. Mine has a crack in it. I currently have not ran across anyone that has any skills to weld Cast and make it good..... A lot of people say that they can try. I have also noticed that your turbo is different than mine. I have a RayJay unit but it sat for 14 years. It spins good but I want to get it serviced before I push it. Can you give up some specs on your turbo. Have you thought about updating the ignition system? I have been looking passively at the Electromotive XDi stuff..... Keep us updated I am very interested. I have some TT literature and handouts that I can send you once I get moved into my new place, if you would like them for your records.

I am going to be going through this in the next two years. I am curious if you will reveal what the shop charged you? Did they do any undercoating? Seems as though your car was in the same shape as mine is currently in.

If you really want to get into it.... Paint the whole car as the colored puzzle pieces.......It would be a great attention getter. Wishing you the best with your family.

This is my biggest fear...... fire in the hole...I have a draw through turbo on the L-series ( turbo tom) Everyone I run into tells me that I have a ticking timebomb......good know the car is good.......I have tracked this car cause I wanted to buy it when Lason had it fro sale.....keep pluging away at it. Just keep a fire extinguisher near....

I have been looking at the electromotive systems and have been turned off by the HEAFTY pricetag..... This might be an option for me. Good job........ I have a Turbo Tom set-up so I am concerned when the boost turns on how the timing will adjust......( I am a tard when it comes to this stuff anyway)

It is not retarded when you can see 10x better than the O.G. bulbs. You really can't put a price on seeing better at night. Especially at highway speeds or 100+........it can make the differance between a close call and a bad wreck..

Careful with the BBS wheels that you have. The Magneisum can develop hairline cracks and break on you. They look killer but from a safety standpoint keep an eye on them. They do look very nice and clean.....

Can you explain why you don't have the camber adjustment.........won't yours be off more and more as you lower the car?

where did you get it done? I am afraid that I am looking at 7k for a paint job. on mine...if I keep it....Which I have a chance of doing since I just found out I am having a girl so.......

My carb fits fine under the hood.......you might want to look for a turbo type of scoop to be less obtrusive

fenders are already flared. Why take off what is already on there. Just spend the money on getting them worked on a little more to your liking and you will have saved money. Especially if you are going to give it a paintjob that it so desperately needs
