  1. Hmmmm, 19 and no liscense ?????? gee, maybe he got in trouble before. Wonder who mommy blamed that time. Could it be good old Darwin at work ????? Maybe the agency that owned the light pole should sue her for giving birth to the person who hit it. Maybe we can put a class action suit against her for causing an increase in the cost of Coors due to legal costs. Coors drinkers would make a pretty big class. - Joe
  2. Now that's an honest auction. - Joe
  3. Guess it time to get the volt meter and start checking wires. Check the starter solonoid, it might have fried. Check the voltage on the lines where you replaced the terminals, might be a bad terminal. Also check the ground wire, could have cooked it, make sure you've got a good ground to the body and the block. - Joe
  4. Always consider an email as a scam. If they claim you need to update information DO NOT use the link, go to the web site and check your account. - Joe
  5. Check the fusible links, then check fuses, then check the wires. Have Pep Boys check the battery for cranking amps, you might have fried the battery. If it starts with a jump, I'd suspect the battery first. - Joe
  6. I've been pretty happy with my Craftsman torque wrenches. Dial it in and listen for the click. The price is good when they go on sale. - Joe
  7. WOW, Looks great. Your talent is amazing. - Joe
  8. Thanks for adding the comments, and the humor. - Joe
  9. Sorry to see that, but it could have been a lot worse. I agree, no reason not to take it to MSA show. Just put a note over it explaining how the Ricer could not get out of your way even though you gave him an edge by racing in reverse . - Joe
  10. Great pictures, thanks. If you can add some comments to the pictures it would be great. - Joe
  11. I replaced all the brake lines in my 280Z. I picked up pre-made lines from local auto parts stores that were closest to the length of the original line, then bent them. Some had to be cut and flared, but by using the pre-made line you only have to flare one end. I found a local shop that does hydraulic lines (check with a local heavy equipment shop) and they bent a line to match the one that runs from front to back. I had to put the ends on, but easy enough. I just handed them the original line and pick up the old and new a few days later. - Joe
  12. WOW, Amazing site. Thanks for posting it, Makes you think. I remember the accident and all the fear, makes some of the dooms day movies look like documentaries. - Joe
  13. I tried to view the link, but got this error message "This function is for members only, please join" I was already logged in, so ??????????? - Joe
  14. If your getting air in the system and not loosing any fuild it's the master that's bad. There are some posts about using newer style boosters and masters, do a search and you should find them. If you get another master be sure to bench bleed it. - Joe
  15. You could make some measurements then head over to your favorite parts house and search for a match, or you could use elbow fitings. The hose can bend, just make sure it doesn't kink. - Joe
  16. LOL - Thanks, I needed that
  17. I did some investigating a while back. I tried to adapt ZX power to a 280Z, close but no cigar. I'm going to use somewthing like the kit you posted, it'll be much easier then creating something. You can cover the spline with the switch, so it will look good. The kit will allow you to put the motor in the dead area. - Joe
  18. T56, couldn't resist 6 forward gears. Lot's of zoom and good milage - Joe
  19. Sorry to hear this Mike, I'd check with your agent. Different states have different rules about test driving a car. I know my policy covers any car I drive. On a side note to make you feel better there was a picture in the local paper a while back with a new BMW all mashed. A guy took it out for a test drive and didn't slow down entering a curve despite the salesmans warning. Car went off the road and rolled, luckily neither were injured. Wonder who's insurance covers that one. - Joe
  20. Check Tim's thread about how he did it, He cut off the hose and taped the roll ipin piece for 1/8 NPT . It's here http://hybridz.org/nuke/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=31628 - Joe
  21. I tend to scan the articles before I buy. If it's that basic I can tell with a quick scan then put it back in the rack. - Joe
  22. Just goes to show that you should never try to give another bike a piggy back ride - Joe
