  1. Are grant adapter kits compatible with MOMO steering wheels? From the pics it seems like the bolt spacing seems to be teh same as my Grant steering wheel.
  2. Lookin good, a stepped lip would be nice though.
  3. LMAO I'm loving the trash can roof scoop! AHAHHAHA
  4. Very nice! I'm looking to get an R6 when I move out around 19 years old for gas prices (and fun!). Please let us know what you think of it when you get a chance to really test it out.
  5. I was running techno toy tuning 7mm spacers and my front right wheel fell off while driving. I felt something wrong and as I was slowing down the wheel fell of at ~20mph. My fender is ruined. BUT the AMAZING this was I was running stock brakes at the time, and the stock dust shield cover held up the whole car and my rotor or any suspension part didn't have one scratch on it!!
  6. "Hypermilerring" (man we should really stop using that word lol) is really great. Me and my brother have started doing it and it's great. Most of us live a hustle 'n bustle kinda life and are always in a rush to get from point A to point B. Driving 55mph on the freeway really slows down life, and driving becomes much, much more relaxing. My brother 03 Mini Cooper S went from 27mpg to nearly 40mpg! This tank he's running now is gonna be a record breaker, he's driven over 200 miles with a little more than half a tank left on a 12 gallon tank.
  7. I think you need more holes in your rotors. But really, WHY SO MANY?!
  8. Yes but it's not difficult at all. I literally did all 4 sides in 30 minutes with just me and my brother. I prefer it this way now anyway, it just looks that much better having the tire all the way at the edge.
  9. Rota RB's FTW! I love mine...
  10. Is Renault still designing the body of Nissan cars/trucks?
  11. Wow you made a 2+2 and the stock front fascia look super clean and badass. Nice!!
  12. Congrats on the car! I'm wondering where you learned all your knowledge about cars. Did your dad teach you? I'm also 17 and am wondering where other teens learn how to restore cars. My dad doesn't know SQUAT about working on cars, I've just read books/websites, and I'm gonna take some automotive classes at the local college this summer. We need some pics!
  13. WOW! It LOOKS INCREDIBLE and sounds AMAZING! Major kudos to you sir. I would give my left testicle to have that car.
  14. If you don't mind me asking how much are they charging?
  15. DuoWing, to give you a clear idea of exactly how my car was when I bought it, here are pictures of the day I got my car. I was very lucky since I only looked at about three other Z's before see'ing this one. As you can see the bumper was also damaged, I had that repaired and rechromed as well. Only advice I can give is to be patient. One of the major flaws on my car is the electrical system. Practically nothing worked, and a couple days ago my ignition stopped giving spark, and now I have to fix that too. Whenever you truly consider buying a car, you know deep down whether or not if it's the right choice. Just be logical. On my car everything appears to be great, but man o man was the suspension, brakes, and electrical system neglected. Everything was so shot it was ridiculous, and to get everything up to my standards has been costing well over double, close to triple of what I was expecting to spend other than the price of the car. I'm lucky I make as much money as I do for being 17, otherwise I simply wouldn't be able to afford to keep building this car.

    Harness Bar

Monzter, I would also consider purchasing a harness bar if the price was right. Just letting you know.

    interior assembly

It really isn't that big of a deal. I have very basic tools and with little knowledge or experience with working on cars was able to assemble my entire interior back together with very little trouble.

    Harness Bar

REALLY nice welds! If you put the original interior covers and make a hole for the harness bar that slips right over the bar that would look SWEET.

Well what class do you plan on running in?

  21. I paid 5k for my car. The body was pretty much as you see it in my sig except the hood had a dent in it and there used to be a really beat-up BRE spook. The interior was completely original and in CLEAN condition. The L28 w/ the 5-speed it came with was very clean and is running really well. If your going to pay 5k for a 240z I would expect the body/interior to be near perfect or requiring very little work to complete, and it should be able to run reliably.
  22. I would also agree to go with the RB's, BUT IMO you should get the silver w/ a polished lip instead of the black centers. Your car is too clean to hide the wheels.
  23. Look into new Baddog frame rails if the original ones are not in good shape. Strut bars also help with the torque flexing the chassis. Look into ones that either triangulate from the strut towers to the firewall, or an 8-point style strut bar from PDK would be ideal.
