    Working on 240z tail light conversion onto 280z. First of all, check how 280z taillight bazel has gap between top, side and bottom from body. Knock off the bold from tail light. Test fitting. Drill holes matching with 240z taillight. I need to bend inside frame to extend metal. Mounted. Not bad?

    Due to the lost date of the server crash, some of the photos are gone. I just upload photos again. for the recent progress, I got tire mount onto wheels. I went Tire Merchants San Jose that has good reputation. They fix my flat tire for $10 in 10 minutes before. I put wheels and tires on my CRV. Early in the morning, no customer. No waiting They mount and balance tire & wheels only $15 each. While fixing another flat tire of my CRV and mounting tire, there are lines of customers waiting. They did excellent jog , cheap, and fast!

    I called Bilstein last year try to order B4-B30-U232A1. However, they didn't have any in US and they did have any stock in Germany neither. Therefore, I decided to use ring nuts comes with the struts.

    Since my RS Watanabe wheel arrived, I never done test fitting. I'm getting tired of color sanding every night, so, it's good time to try something fun RS Watanabe R Type Front 16x8.5 -6 Rear 16x9.5 -19 With ZG flare, it's perfect fitting! It comes with lug nuts for free at sales campaign. It's too nice to use it. But, I can't use Datsun original nuts. compare with original wheel, it's deeeeeeeeeeeep!

    Thanks LegnaZetr0, I think I sue around 40psi that manufacture specified. It's bit higher pressure than PPG. Hey Perfect240z, You can bring your car to my garage Oops!, no space right now.

    Thanks Leon! Thanks Nigel! I saw your site from ClassicZ. Once body is done, I will move forward 71C adaption. For the mirror, I use LHD version. Somehow I had RHD version image here.

    Thanks Leon, terse, LegnaZetr0, Here is the update for body painting. When I try to paint, multiple parts, I made a lot of mistake. So, I just concentrated on body only. Masking takes so long time. Not bat??

    Hi Perfect240z, I thought about it. Since I'd like to DIY as much as possible for this project, I will paint by myself. I'm pretty sure, I will ask pro for the next project. I order Toyota Super White 040 this time. Also, I use my garage for the paint booth this time. Make sure to use 3M masking tape. Don't use HDX one. It does not stick long enough. Make sure to tape all the corner. Start painting doors. Succeed!

    Thanks Christine. I'm fascinating your craftmanship on your Kuro S30! OK, here is some update. I decided to paint again. Since I painted during Fall-Winter, it was kind of failed. Clear coating wasn't good. Paint arrived and prepared. This time, I created paint booth using $59 HFT canopy. Make sure to have 10 minutes interval between coating. So far, so good with base coat. Clear coating is so stink! After apply 2nd time, I escape to backyard to take a deep breath and I heard some broken sound..... OMG! Paint booth collapse by wind! Painting was failed.... I wasted so much clear coating. But, biggest failure is... the color is not white, It's light blue Lol This paint is good for VW Beatle....

    I give a try this with my Bilstein shock with this MK1 camber plates. Arrived well packed. top nut is same size with Bilstein's one. the spacer? for the bottom. Using top nut and bottom spacer to fit perfect & tight. Just wonder there is about 0.3mm gap between spacer and shock tower. Is this too much?

    I bought mine from there. You need to search the tire size from Google and find the link to the tire rack . com If you search within tire rack.com you won't find the tire. It strange... But that how I figure out.

    I purchased my wheel from Falcon, the Watanabe's distributor in japan, still take 4,5 months to get them here.
