The car is featured in the latest December Sport Compact Car issue. It is an amazing machine. Something that really caught my eye was the bodywork. It says in the magazine that between every stock spot weld, they drilled a hole, welded the two panels together, and ground the weld back flush. I have been thinking of doing that to my 240z when I tear it down beside other things. Is it worth while to stitch weld most of the car or just some areas? At what 1/4 mile time do tracks mandate a rollcage? I think this will be the deciding factor on my chassis strengthening mods. I will most likely stitch weld some areas and put in a cage.
