  1. There must be an idiot farm somewhere because I find it hard to believe that they are born this stupid. :malebitchslap: Marcos
  2. Aliens do exist. Well I don't call them aliens anymore, more like space neighbors. I used to work with one back in 1998. He was a hard worker and never complained. Just sucks that the company went under before he gave me a ride in his spaceship. He always claimed that it was in the shop. Maybe he'll read this post and drop by for a visit so we can split a case. Oh well. Here are a couple of pics that I took when he was working on one of the units. Marcos
  3. Nice. I wonder if it leaves brown skid marks. Marcos
  4. Looks like they do good work...maybe I should hire them to redo the plumbing at my house. Marcos
  5. I bought a 1983 280ZXT model a while back and someone gave me a 240Z one, probably the same kind you purchased. I have had them for more than a year but haven't gotten around to putting them together. I will though, someday. Marcos
  6. That is really low at the headers. I agree with Mike, your headers are going to get . Marcos
  7. Hey Bob...I continued my subscription for two more years a couple of weeks ago. So I am doing my part. I would like to see a complete article on a 2JZDTE or RB26TT swap into a 240Z. My interest being that I will be doing one or the other next year. That would make me extremely happy. You guys are doing a great job. Keep them coming. Marcos
  8. Yup! If you can't go turbo w/intercooler...buy a wannabe intercooler filter. You can get like 40 extra hp. Marcos
  9. I feel for all of you...because I am also in the same boat, or car LOL. I am the Family/Friend mechanic. I also feel the same way I really don't mind helping other people. It actually makes me feel good that I am saving them money but it tends to take too much of my time. I just love it when you hear that they are buying a new car...which means you are safe for a few years. Marcos
  10. They are still quarterly. It sucks having to wait three months for their new issue. Marcos
  11. That's sad to hear, glad your ok and hope your car will be ok too. People just don't know how to drive in the rain. Marcos
  12. Damn!!!! That's awesome. I've never heard of anyone breaking the mustache bar. Some pictures would be good.
  13. Did all 2JZ-GTEs come with 6speed trannys or just the later years? It would be good to know if it will drop in smoothly with either tranny. Marcos
  14. Found this while searching. http://www.fullboost.com.au/cars/readerscars/sinisha240z.html Marcos
  15. That really sucks, may they rest in peace. A moment of silence. Marcos
  16. Even if you don't save money buying a better shell, the time you will save and the headaches you will avoid will be more than worth it. Good Luck. Marcos
  17. I'm 27. Sometimes I feel like i'm 40 and other times I feel like i'm 16. The way I figure, it averages out to a close to 27. Oh well. I can't wait to start working on my Z so I can forget how old I am. Marcos
  18. I'm am going to do this swap next year and would also be interested in motor and tranny mounts. I know two other members are currently doing this swap. Chime in if you already did the swap, are in the process of doing it, or will do it. I would like to know how many of us are going the 2JZ way. Marcos
  19. The car is featured in the latest December Sport Compact Car issue. It is an amazing machine. Something that really caught my eye was the bodywork. It says in the magazine that between every stock spot weld, they drilled a hole, welded the two panels together, and ground the weld back flush. I have been thinking of doing that to my 240z when I tear it down beside other things. Is it worth while to stitch weld most of the car or just some areas? The car is also featured in http://www.speedoptions.com with about 100 pictures of the buildup. They even had it up on a rotisserie. http://speedoptions.com/features/cars.php At what 1/4 mile time do tracks mandate a rollcage? I think this will be the deciding factor on my chassis strengthening mods. I will most likely stitch weld some areas and put in a cage. Marcos
  20. I can't believe he did this to his face. I think it came about from a mentally disturbed childhood. I really liked his music back in the days and still do but this is disturbing. He looks like a clown, in my opinion. All that money on plastic surgery...man...could you imagine if he would have used that as car mod money. He could've had a bunch of sweet Zs. Oh well, to each his own. Marcos
  21. Your car is looking great. Makes me kinda mad that I have to work on the house before I can start working on my project. Oh well, I hope to start it early next year. I'm almost 100% positive that I will be sticking a 2JZ in my 240Z. I can't wait. Marcos
  22. Doh!!! No gooood! What a waste. Those six could've made someone happy...for a little while at least. Marcos
  23. Congrats John, now start spitting out some cool Z parts that we can buy. I should be starting my Z project in the next few months. I didn't realize I live so close to you and your shop. I am a few miles away from your shop.
