So I plan on getting one when I start working in September. I was just on the site building one, and I originally intended to get a base model with the sport and navigation packages on it. On the configurator on the site you don't seem to be able to have the navigation option without having the touring package. This seems strange, and the only reason I can think of for this is that the hard drive sound system only meshes with the Bose speakers in the Touring package, but this seems unlikely. This is annoying to me as I want navi, but have no desire for any of the options in the $5000 touring package. Does anyone who has been to a dealer know anything about this? Thanks alot.

I graduate from school in May and I am on the job trail. I am a mechanical engineer and I know we have a ton of engineers here so I thought I'd ask if anyone has worked or knows anyone who worked for Schlumberger. Hey guys, I just wanted to show you the beginning of a new project. I just bought a 1982 suzuki gs750 to turn into a cafe racer. I got the bike for 500 with two helmets, it runs great and looks pretty nice except for the seat, which I will be replacing anyway. I was also lucky enough to get one of the two years that the gs had the 4 valve tscc engine so it revs out nicely. My plans for the short term are to put on some clubman bars, make a seatpan with a bubble tail out of carbon fiber, upholster it, and just generally clean it up. I Will probably also make an exhaust and wrap it with black heat wrap for that mean look. I think this bike is a great base and I am very excited. here's the bike and this is the look I'm going for

I would probably go for a fixed gear road bike. You only get one gear, but you can still get up to pretty high speeds because of the high efficiency wheel/tires. Also with a fixie, since it is direct drive, you have to work on the downhill sections as well. I have built up two fixies in the past year, one steel and one out of bamboo, I loved them both and they have brought back alot of the fun of riding that I missed. Here are my babies: Steel Bamboo

If that pressboard isnt too heavy, I would do a couple overlays in carbon fiber to give it some strength. Since it isnt too wide, the carbon would be relatively inexpensive. I have been doing alot of work in carbon lately (bamboo bike business) and I am really impressed by how easy it can be to work with. If the pressboard is heavy, then I would find something light to replicate from and then lay some carbon on it.

Sensors must be fitted which directly measure the pressure of the fuel supplied to the injectors, these signals must be supplied to the FIA data logger. 5.7.2 Only one fuel injector per cylinder is permitted which must inject directly into the side or the top of the inlet port.

I am pretty sure this video was proven to be a fake, or rather that it wasn't actually a ferrari, and the speeds weren't that high. The video was sped up. Something about the shifts not matching actual speeds, and a couple other things. I believe the british show fifth gear did a special on it.

How much do you think you could do something like these for. They would need to be maybe 3-4in by 2in by .75in at maximum measurements. We can make them in low volume, but because of our machines and how many people we need to share them with, we can't build bulk. The thing to notice here is that the part where the wheel attaches and the round part that goes into the bamboo are at a slight angle, so we needed a total of 3 cutting sequences on our 3 axis machine. well, i would, but in order to get the tubes mitered id have to set em up on a jig with your dimensions, and if i dont miter them for you i wouldnt really be sending you much. If you can make a jig then you have done most of the work and i totally suggest you try to make your own. Bamboo is pretty plentiful around the country. If i can find it in jersey you can find it wherever you are, provided it isnt alaska. we ordered the carbon tape from an online retailer. the aluminum bits were just normal aluminum stock
