  1. Still selling fuel rails? I sent an email as well, but I am in need of a fuel rail set up for 14mm oring injectors. Hope to hear youre still offering 'em! Thanks
  2. I am looking for a fuel rail for my L28ET for use with 14mm o-ring style injectors. Thanks,
  3. I have a set, never been used, still brand new in the box, along with brand new K&N filters https://picasaweb.google.com/102233239296109086503/TripleWebers# let me know if you're interested.
  4. Im not following, how is the PS500 anything like the stock jetronic setup? From what ive gathered on the haltech forums, the PS500 just does away with the extra frills of the ps1000/2000 ecu's in order to keep the price in check. It would be limited to semi-sequential injection on a 6 cyl, but can be used with a distributor or multi coil igntion system (im running stock dizzy now, but may switch to LS coils down the road). It, like the 1000/2000 systems can also use the Nissan optical crank sensor. The work involved in an install shouldnt be any more or less than any other universal EMS i wouldnt think. Saw one example of a shop doing a ps500 install in a 280zx in a couple hours (and fwiw, the car came in the shop making 180whp and left making ~340whp before running out of injector). My major concern for switching EMS is consistency. Im tired of the stock ecu being great one day, then lean the next; trouble with hot starts; all the issues that come with the 30yr old EFI on a modified car. Being able to tune the car is priority number 2. I want to be able to come to the car, turn it on, and have it run the same way it did the day before every time. Anti-lag, launch control, etc are all great, but I dont need a lot of those features, the car isnt tracked. I was a heavy lean towards MS3 before i realized Haltech offered a budget friendly option, so budget is a concern as well.
  5. Anyone using the Haltech Platinum Sprint 500? Seems to be their budget offering and can be had w/ a lead harness for under $1k. A quick search didnt find anything, but see lots of people using older Haltech ECUs with success. Right now Im debating b/t the MS3 or the PS500. MS3 obviously has more extra's, but the reliability and robustness of Haltech has me wondering if I need those extra options. I see lots of noise and sync issues on MS, but it doesnt seem to be nearly as prevalent with Haltechs. Anyone have any first hand experience with PS500? Positive or negative reviews when used with the L28ET?

  7. Think the word might be getting out -- i ordered a sample when you posted this, and got a single pushpin. I had just bought some oem replacements so i didnt need them, but figured more is better and free to boot...oh well :/
  8. Took her to a car show this weekend http://instagram.com/p/W6-jVMh3Fj/
  9. I have 2.5" piping, i bought the elbows from http://stores.ebay.com/automodsllc this was the second link after a google search: http://www.verociousmotorsports.com/Shop-by-Brand/venair-silicone-bends/Venair-90-Degree-Silicone-Bend-12-Arms there were others as well
  10. Mine is 27" total length, and i have 90* elbows passing through the radiator support to attach. I bought 90* silicone elbows with long legs and then trimmed to the size I needed.
  11. Without sectioned strut tubes, suspension travel is limited. Its a stiff ride for sure
  12. eibach springs with a coil removed. Coilovers with sectioned strut tubes would get you the same look (or any look you want) and a better ride though.
  13. Like the others stated, youre looking for an agreed value policy. I actually have mine through nationwide, and they required I had another vehicle insured with them. You'll need a bill of sale or appraisal for some companies as well.
  14. You'll have a bit more rubber in the back, but this should give you an idea since its similar. I have 16x8.25, 0 offset, no spacers with 205/50 tires
  15. You'll need to add a second o2 sensor bung for the wideband sensor. Any muffler shop can do this, just tell them where you want it. Since your wiring it independent of any ecu, its stupid easy -- power and ground, then the sensor harness to the gauge harness. Leave the stock o2 sensor in place and wired like factory. Any wideband will do what you want. Ive used innovative in my last car and use autometer (b/c i wanted matching gauges) in my Z, I like both.
  16. Wish I had a hook-up like this, Im paying $60/case through amazon... it is nice just having it show up at my door though
  17. kept waiting for a big tailout drift around the big U bend at the 1/2 way point, ha
  18. Sounds as good as she looks, Rich! What GoPro mount are you running? Like it?
  19. Hey Sam, thanks for the advice. I havent pulled the trigger qite yet, but i think youre right and now im leaning towards MS3 for a lot of the reasons you stated. Great thread, will keep checkin back
