  4. Tricked my wife into cleaning up the garage where I work on my Z and found a local machine shop to take my block to get it cleaned, refreshed w/new rings and bearings. Hopefully by summer I can be driving it again...not looking forward to converting the L28ET harness to work in my 73!!!!! Everything else on the turbo swap I can complete at my level of wrenching.

  10. I have a reman booster with a new 7/8 MC attached in my car that works great that I am removing to do the ZX upgrade if interested.
  11. The earlier ZX caliper has a bigger hat than the later, check ATL craigslist...there is an ad for an early ZX part out.

  16. NO. That is for the piston in the carb...put oil in it...I use marvel mystery oil...just read the FSM for the correct weight. Get the gas out of there COMPLETELY though.
  17. Your coil is hot because of the multiple start ups... Lots of power going through it during starts. The ceramic thing is a ballast resistor...replace if its cracked.
