  1. RB26DETT? That's what my pistons look like.
  2. Hey Scottie, would you be willing to share the demension of that DP above? I'm not trying to make a money off your design. I'm in the process od making 3 inch DP for my turbo motor and I thought it'll be nice to know the demension so I know how much tubing I would need before I go buy some. It was for 1G Z right? Another thing I'm considering is to use some heat treated allen wrench bolts rather than the studs that gets in the way with straight 3 in DP? What do you think?
  3. Some DSM claim .2 tenth to .5 tenth with an external wastegate dump. Hummm.
  4. Yeah, the flowmaster supposed to suck big one. But I ran 9.6 sec in 1/8 mi. I guess I suppose I should try again with better flowing muffler.
  5. I got a HKS and it's 10x17x2 1/2 I think. And HKS will support 300RWHP with hybrid turbo. Well, I went to measure it and it was 10x15x2 1/2.
  6. I use Crane P91. It's not bad.
  7. hehehe, the way you should drive 300HP I just can't believe the problems the new M3 have. I just happy your buddy didn't get the bad ones. Or even if it is, extended warranty baby Can't wait for the V8 M3
  8. Looked like T4 flange. But I doubt it. I wish I had a access to a shop. Wait I do!
  9. I thought I read that he was going to go with single T88 before. How much the milling cost?
  10. The newest M3 has a motor problem. The rod and valvetrain doesn't last.
  11. Nevermind I found out.
  12. It's kind of hard ro make a good parpendicular joint with tube unless you got a equipment to cut the tube in an inverted moon shape. )
  13. Do you know which head had a cam stamped "K" ? It came out from my used P79 but I think that could be a miss match. Could it be from P90 turbo head?
  14. But there are less humps inside of the turbo manifold. So it can have more flow than N42. (I know nobody really have tested on flow bench so I just assuming) I've heard ppl picking up couple pounds of boost from swapping intakes from N42 to a turbo manifold.
  15. 16. F54 block from turbo and N/A is little different. The PCV pipe is different and the turbo block has a thread for a knock sensor. I don't think the N/A F54 had those. I could be wrong it has been long time since I seen a F54 N/A block.
  17. I'll be installing L26/P79 combo and stock turbo, turbo EFI, and HKS IC on my car next month. I'll find out what it'll do.
  18. I used a barb fittings and 300psi hose and did use any zxt hoses.
  19. you can use Mustang 5.0 oil filter adapter and oil filter relocation kit in line with the oil cooler.
  20. I get all my rubber hoses from local rubber and gasket wholesaler. 300psi oil cooler hose I got them for practically free. They are going to make me a custom hoses for my IC.
  21. Some L4 came with tensioner retainer that keeps the tensioner to pop up. Kind of nice to have.
  22. I got a 11lb aluminium fly on my N/A. It's hard enough launcing the car without spinning too much or bogging with the light flywheel. For drag racing, the lighten stock unit probably do better IMO.
  23. I don't see any problem with P79 on turbo motor because the turbo exhaust manifold is not a square ports. It's the real weird D port looking thing. However, I've notice that my P79 didn't have bronze valve guides and my P90 did. So that guides could use some work, I guess. Nothing wrong with steel guide but self lubecating metal (bronze) sounds good to me
  24. O, E88 doesn't have EFI provision David. I had to get mine welded and drilled/tapped. 133mm rods can work with custom pistons. hint hint 38.?MM is stock wrist pin height so you need to raise the wrist pin height and run 35.?mm (I can't remember the tenth) I'm going with 30mm wrist pin pistons and 136-137mm custom rods (I haven't figure out the exact # yet) That should give me 1.7+ stroke/rod ratio. O do you still want the intake? I don't have a camera so I couldn't take pic. (Well, I had one but it was el cheapo and no loner in service)email me if you want it or I'll see you on AIM
