  1. You want more boost but you don't think your wastegate is opening? Did you mean you don't think your wastegate is closing?
  2. This is why Ken Block is a marketing genius TP > KB
  3. When you have 410 Wheel torques.... Also, I second anti-lag [spark cut]!! Will sound awesome/work great, but your GT35R might not last a very long time if you use it alot.
  4. Not anymore, you don't The answer is 8. http://espn.go.com/action/news/story?page=ken-block-unveils-gymkhana-three
  5. I went over to TrumpetRhapsody's house to work on the new 78 on Saturday. Got the rear panel [the one in between the 5MPH Bumper and the roll pan] off. It was tack welded on there, and I dented the roll pan a bit. I plan on replacing the whole rear panel anyways, it's not so bad. I got the driver's side bumper bracket unbolted, I need to drop the tank and get the passenger's side off, but that takes a bit more effort than I want to put forth right now. I also got the rear deck out. Nothing cool in the weed compartments except some NIB wipers that looked to be about 5-10 years old. I threw those on the windshield, they seem to work It's getting lighter/less ganky every day I work on it. I also bled the brakes and they feel much better. Still need to get the dang door mechanisms fixed.
  6. Why did you build a car with everything you wanted to just turn around and sell it? I feel for you because I know it sucks to put a bunch of time and money into the car and then have people try to lowball on you. However, I think if you were just trying to flip it you should have just done the swap sans crate engine, rebuilt T56, Nismo R200, etc etc.
  7. My brake light switch went out sometime last year, have you replaced yours yet? It's pretty cheap and quick to do.
  8. Search for "South Bend Clutch" KA clutch = 225mm [same clutch as N/A L28E] L28ET clutch = 240mm
  9. Tell me about it. Dropping the tank FTL. I had to replace all teh fuel hoses when I did it to Flatty >_<
  10. *something something something* Needs a RB26DETT *something something something* I just want to keep true to Nissan... *something something something dark-side*
  11. I don't think it matters, the crank bolts are the same. You should sell the KA fidanza and get the L28ET fidanza, that way you can run my clutch. I'm running a South Bend DXD K06032 "Rally X-Series" clutch, claimed 390WTQ clutch. I highly recommend it. Pictures are in this thread a couple of pages back, I installed it in December.
  12. It's hanging a wheel Not in the grass. It's got an LSD though, which means Flatty = G5 Rally car
  13. Seriously?? Go to another site if you just want people to agree with whatever willy-nilly idea you dream up. Calling him a wanker for giving advice. Really?
  14. Got those 5MPHBs off my new 78. I was running late to work today so I jumped in the trusty old Datto [Flatty]. It got me there on time, but I smell like petrol now. Mmm coffee and gas fumes!!
  15. Well, I don't know if I should start a new thread for this. What do you guys think? In the mean time: I de-bumpered the new 78. Also got the stupid body line trim off. When I got her home: Sans bumpers/trim: I've already got a pile of Z crap from this one: I'll be dropping the tank at some point to get rid of the rear bumper struts I still need to fix the diff clunk [front mount] and turn signals, as well as the door mechanisms. The passenger side won't even open.
  16. Hey there! I remember your sig... haha I just picked up a new 78 coupe, we're starting our new projects around the same time. It's a race! Oh and I've already got my "body line" trim off and bumpers are coming off tonight, so you have some catching up to do
  17. This seems like alot of work. Just to let you know, I have two Subaru parts cars at my boss' ranch. One is a first gen Legacy, the other is a first gen Impreza [GC]. Parts interchange is basically the same from these cars to the GDs [02-07 Imprezas] I've put a Legacy LCA on my Impreza, vice versa, I have a GD WRX sway bar on my GC, etc etc - they are all the same parts. The only difference should be the STi hub, which as you know, are 5x114.3 Let me know if I can help you out with parts measurements, etc
  18. Wow, I fail! Sorry OP I have been using the Felpro gaskets for at least 4 manifold changes, and they hold 11 psi with no problem. I prefer them because O'Rielly's always have them in stock, and they are only $11.

  20. I have one of those for sale for pretty cheap. Just FYI. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/94856-1978-280z-parts-car/page__view__findpost__p__892540__fromsearch__1 It's got good fenders and a vented hood as well, which you can use on your 240.
  21. This ^^^ It's not their fault you ordered a part with a certain shipping quote, and were unsatisfied with the SHIPPER. Why would they owe you money? If I had a business and some customer was bitchyng to get a refund on shipping for something I had no control over, I would tell them to get the hell out of my store. You're right. I "just don't get it." The time you've wasted on this was worth much more than $12 IMHO
