  1. So you're saying your 6 puck clutch is different from every other organic disc clutch car you've driven? Novel idea! My Subaru cable clutch feels alot different from the other hydro clutch cars I've driven.
  2. Cable actuated tiny Subaru clutch is a terrible comparison to a hydraulically operated 6 puck 240mm Z clutch... I am going with you used the wrong TOB collar [i'm using a 78 5 speed tranny and 83 ZXT collar] or your MC to pedal rod is too short. maybe a combo of both if it's a real problem. My Z clutch engages about 2/3 of the way up the throw.

  4. Did you have the bleeder screws open the entire time while pumping the air out? The same thing happened to my virgin S12+8s before I rebuilt them, but that's because the pistons were frozen.
  5. Your K06032 clutch kit with a early VG30ET disc and 350Z PP has held up really well to my 'mild' L28ET, we'll see next summer how it does with a bit more power. If I get things running properly I should be looking at around 300 HP. Thanks again, you guys were very helpful while I was ordering on the phone!
  6. Check out the wheel thread, I think the 16x8 + 0 is the biggest wheel you can stuff in there without rubbing badly on untrimmed fenders. 225/55s should be okay...

  17. Oh man, I forgot to do a write up about the engine mounts. TrumpetRhapsody and I both had issues with those mounts, He found a different bolt, I found a bolt with a close thread, then tapped it to fit. Luckily for us it was with them out of the car. Looks like great progress!

[Just pulled my HO after breaking 3 bolts off in the block on the passenger's side mount] Also, it's not that much torques.. http://www.edmunds.com/used/1992/jeep/cherokee/3600/specs.html But who knows, maybe throw a terbeaux on there and it's a beast!

  21. Get the turbo 240 unless the rust issue is much worse than the 280.
  22. Or find a different Volvo... I have 2 Volvo FMICs, they both have inlets at the top. Here is the one installed on my car. I was told it was from a 740.
  23. "High power engine" What has this guy told you to expect from a N/A L28 stroker? Just wondering... Pull the steering rack bushings and replace them while the engine is out, they sit under the engine.
