  1. I'm not into drifting, but from what I've read, his problem with an s30 is going to be in the steering angle. I would either research changing the geometry of the steering system or buy a cheap s13 or 14.
  2. I would sell the gauge out of my 76 if you had to have one for $100. I know that's high but I've been considering an autometer fuel level gauge instead and it would help get me there. Just throwin it out there.
  3. Still no price or pics from either one...:/
  4. I got a t5 out of an 82. Its paired with 3.55 final gearing and it pulls like crazy. Through all gears. (Still in 5th gear, I can roll on the throttle and build plenty of boost for passing without dropping gear.)
  5. I don't think it would be very hard to cut holes in the rear body panel for exhaust exit holes. Especially if the gas tank is swapped out for a cell. If I were going to do it, I would have to put the tail lights in as well. I like the idea.
  6. I twisted the bracket that the actuator is bolted to. That will change the direction the rod points to. (Needing to go straight toward swingarm)
  7. Before I buy, I'll check here first...I'm looking for a BRE spoiler in good condition. I would buy or trade a MS1 ecu that I'm not using. Thanks guys.
  8. I'm sure Andy's suggestion is a great. An alternative would be 3M panel bonding adhesive or 3M urethane used for glass. It is very flexible and readily available at local parts store. I have used it for many air dam/chin spoiler installs and it works great. The biggest benefit to it is that if the moulded part doesn't butt up perfectly, you can use it to produce up to a 3/4" gap that will adhere both sides.
  9. I know a guy that that's boosted l28 made 748 at the flywheel. Not sure what turbo, but it hit 34 psi
  10. I would think it would be close enough to start running. I think mine was at 50 using the PWM circuit
  11. I have an ms1v3 that I would sell. Also, a set off 440cc injectors, an eBay fpr, an MBC, extra walbro fuel pump, boost gauge....lmk and I'll hook you up on a package deal if you're interested
  12. Have u checked your trigger logger to see off crank signal is consistent? Also, I'm more familiar with ms2, but does your ms3 require a cam signal? Are you firing batch injection? Sorry, I'm usually on my phone and can't look at .msq
  13. If you do have resistors inline, Change your current limit to 100% and time threshold to 25.4.
  14. Its a 76 280. I'm gonna put up some more pics tommorrow. It just got lots first bath in since before winter
  15. I suppose you could, but "they say" the best placement for your water nozzle is a few inches before the throttle body. I would assume that to more evenly disburse it into the intake.
  16. You could always do it later, but if you're planning on injecting methanol into the cold start hole, I would install it now. Also, you would be able to run one of the extra output wires to a solenoid for MS to control the meth.
  17. Agreed. I would be highly PO'd. Fire and damage protection should've been the first task on his list.
  18. Round here, in North Alabamer, we just say 'murdered' for all black, everything. The paint is a Honda color, code b92p. Black with a blue pearl in it. Shines through in direct sunlight.
  19. I plastidipped the button. I'll get some more pics in a couple days when the rain goes away.
  20. Alright, tell me what you guys are think... I'm still on the fence about the chrome, but I used plastidip on it, so it could be reversed. VHT Nite Shades on the lenses, which is still bright enough in the dark. I'm gonna do a light tint on the glass since all practicality went out the window a long time ago. Anyway, here it is...
  21. It will pay off more than anything to do ALL of your research before making any purchases. If you do go standalone, an AFM wouldn't be nessecary for speed density tuning. Also, I'm not sure about others, but for MS, you'll want a 0-5v tips signal. That won't come from a stock sensor. Most of us here run a 240sx throttle body and tips as it bolts up to the manifold.
  22. New shoes! I'm gonna plastidip the chrome, emblems, and bumper this weekend. Vht Nite Shades for the lenses. She's gonna be murdered!
  23. Are you planning on deleting your pcv or relocating? You'll probably need to move it forward for a larger turbo compressor. If thats in the future... Also, I made my own fuel rail and made the adjustment where I can get it pretty tight with just the manifold bolts and then really pull the rail down towards the manifold with the bolts that go into the bottom of the rail.
  24. That is correct. You want to break the ground signal that is controlling the fuel pump relay. (Assuming that's the way its wired up) I wouldn't recommend breaking a 12v supply on/off.
