Well i look forward to when texas isnt run by a bunch of retards and when i go to the dmv to bond a title because a guy was lazy and didnt register the car, and ofcourse it was sold with no title then i got it (again with no title) and during the "bondong" process they look up a value of 7k+ for a POS BOUGHT AS A PARTS CAR 280zx that i got running instead of chopping it up. Oh yeah then the 5-6% bond will cost me 350+ on a $500 parts car purchase. God how i hate taxes, the idiots in office, and the stupid laws people somehow pass.

i know of a guy that sells them for like 200-250(cant remember offhand) for a set of 6...let me know if you are interested and i could mail them to you. -Jeff

Hey man pretty sure i have the trans mount as well as speedo cable. I pretty much have the whole kit, less a few pieces i was told by a guy once....but i probably have them to just didnt recognize them as 'out of the ordinary' like i did the others. call or text me and ill let ya look em over, but i definately have no use for them

Good score phil, and finding em down here isnt too hard its finding em that run, have good bodies, and a clear title that cheap thats hard lol. Also good thing you live out where you do, i got a letter from the city (farmers branch) for having an engine lift outside as i was swapping a motor for a guy, because only "routine maint" is to be performed at a residence. AND every car visible has to have current registration and inspection. I cant wait to move back to the country and do whatever the hell i want and inside a barn/3sided "shop" so i dont have to worry about some stupid city code enforcement. P.S. if you really want some clean old z's i have a few that i could sell ya...just not that cheap lol

remember that the "lighter" 240z doesnt stay all that light once you add the bigger motor, 5 speed, r200, etc. And with the 280z you start out with all of that already so you save that money as well.

Buy some piping, vbands, a dremel/cutter/chopsaw etc, and a welder and go at it....I/C installs are never "easy" if done right (not using couplers to make up for piping) because that will cause surge, bad vac, popped off piping, etc just need to make sure all of the pipes fit nicely with only 1/2-1inch gap inbetween them so there isnt a big gap that the silicone is "helping" out with.

Well instead of posting in the pictures of family, etc I decided to be a rebel and deal with the consequences of starting my own topic because as I see it, id pay whatever to have him take over the website for a day. Of course that wouldn’t be fair so ill just stick with having these not so great cell phone pics take over and show ya’ll my bundle of joy that got here so quickly. I’ll spare the details but we had an event happen sunday night so I told the wife to call the doc and get an apt for yesterday instead of our regular appointment that was for today. We go in, doc says well everything is fine would you like me to check you out so you don’t have to come back and we say sure. Then while he is preparing to, he gives us the long list of well if you have contractions, water breaks, etc, and stops and says....never mind you are 5cm dilated (about 1/2 way till baby time for those who don’t know) and already in labor...hour later he breaks the water/epidural time, then we wait 2 1/2 hours for things to get just right and a final last 15mins (5 rounds of 3 pushes) and BAM new not so happy baby in the world. So here he is...my little man, and sorry if i seem like that new crazy parent, and for having to look at my ugly mug... but he is my first at 22 and my wife who’s turning 21 in october so we are young and trying to get started early and maybe I’m just a bit overexcited =)

haha well as always paulo has said he would send the money back but its never found its way to my account. The panel i still have and havent messed with just because i dont have time to fix a mistake. Paulo got booted from here for screwing people, everyonce in a while someone like me comes along and figures "hey i like the part, if it is quality and can make it here in good condition i will take pics and show everyone else youre not a bad guy and help you out (as well as help myself out with a nice piece)" ofcourse i pay for it, it gets messed up in shipping, and he claims he'll pay for it/refund it, and that never happens...as well as I event WENT to cali and told him the dates, times, locations, etc that i would be for 2-4days and he claims (when i call him on the last day after not hearing from him) that he has been busy and there is a huge dust storm/rain on the way and he's not going to make it (because he is operating out of mezico) AND the weather said all was clear where he was and the whole way up. It just seems like one lie after another and i have tried to be patient, hoping for an actaul good part, and hoping to clear his name/help out his business....and he just doesnt care i suppose. Also the number he gave me/ive used when ordering and to get ahold of him....somehow isnt working anymore and hasnt for about a year, havent tried though in a few months. Just stay away from anything RETRO-SPEC/{PAULO) made, because he wont wrap it good enough so it doesnt get damaged and wont get it fixed/make it right when it does.

You do realize that the 280zx/s130 is sooooo similar to an 240sx/s13 that it isnt even funny...hence why it slides sooo much better that a s30 chassis. I think i already said that though, and the fact that even a slow stock s130 with a nice clutch kick doesnt have to be in 3-4th gear to get side ways, but at slow speeds the s30 shows its "undrifting" ability, if anyone would like to prove me wrong and show a VIDEO of an s30 sliding at fast AND slow entry speeds i would love to see it....i'll be waiting with baited breath. Sorry i didnt make it too clear i meant an actual drift run, not just one slide, or "drifting" then coming all the way around, aka spinouts, but an actual multi-drifting segment, because i know how much easier/capable a 280zx is vs a 280z.
