  1. Rebuild kit as in a gasket kit? Or are we talking bottom end bearings rings etc? The kits on ebay will work, but you will want to make sure you get Ishino head gaskets (oem z31 headgasket mfg'r, the best oem style hg out there)
  2. Beck, nice to see you around here and posting!
  3. If we're talking dry shot, then no, I'm surprised you didn't melt a piston with the 100 shot. The teeny tiny 260cc injectors are your main limiting factor. It is generally said around the z31 community that 10-12psi is fine with minor mods (exhaust, cone filter mainly, and some form of pressure relief valve, not the stock POV). The VG is pretty stout, but it is limited by the pea shooter injectors Nissan decided to toss in there.
  4. Haaaaahahaha I love these epic threads, even if they are totally set up.
  5. AE t-tops have a mirrored finish on them, and are unique to the AE.
  6. i'd definitely go flappy paddle tiptronic.
  7. I'm not sure where that's placed in relation to the fan, but from my experiences when filters are placed (in these cases behind fans) in that position, they give idle and running problems when the fan kicks on. This was on Z31's however, so the MAF setup for the earlier cars might make a difference in that regard.
  8. I don't see where the confusion is.
  9. Fair enough. Hahaha, that guy is from Kelowna, I grew up there. I can definitely understand his attitude, generally most people that live there and can afford toys as such are more towards the arrogant/ignorant side of things. (think a toned down Beverley hills) My good buddy's dad who had over 30 years of riding experience was killed when a jeep blew a red light and ran him down when he was on his bike. Saying he feels safer on a bike really makes me question where his head is at though. I too am a firm believer that bikes are rolling death traps, especially in places where they're coming down hard on bikes with loud exhausts. Most of the time a loud exhaust is the only reason people see you on the streets.
  10. What's the beef chief? You have an issue with Canadians? I agree with what you're saying though.
  11. stage 3??? That doesn't mean much without knowing the clutch retailer. Anyway, all clutches/flywheels interchange from 84-89 NA cars as well as 84-86 turbo cars. They have 240mm clutch/flywheel combinations. The 87-89 Turbo's have a 250mm clutch/flywheel. You can use either on any car, you just have to match the correct flywheel to the correct clutch. Starters will work with any flywheel. We are in the process of seeing if z32 clutches will work with the z31 flywheel, will get back to you if it works. Z32 flywheels will not work because z32 cranks are 8 bolt, z31 cranks are 6 bolt.
  12. A couple hundred bucks maybe, t-tops are pretty plentiful, and not really sought after from my experience. Now if they were the AE t-tops then you'd have something. I wager a set of t-top seals in perfect condition would be worth more.
  13. Randomly googling stuff a few days ago I ran across this setup. I think it looks pretty cool, but I'm really unsure of the function. I've only seen this type of setup on mountain bike rear suspension and forms of it on race bred cars. Anyway check it out and discuss. http://www.fatcatfabrication.com/id3.html
  14. Looking very very nice. Do you have anything planned in the way of engine dress up? Normally I'm not one for shiny bits, but a body that nice deserves a polished heart!
  15. I can't tell if you're being serious, but that one is totally fake.
  16. That's definitely my biggest 'wtf' moment so far today. Any more background on that thing?
  17. damn very nice Draxx, the colour of the wheels really goes well with the body colour. That bmw jack looks sketchy as hell lol.
  18. That was a pretty intense movie, I enjoyed it! even caught the 280 in it!
  19. i had a friend that had something similar to that. aside from making all the blood rush to your head it doesn't really do a lot. mind you that was when i was like 15 so it might be different now.
  20. also a good thread http://zilvia.net/f/chat/129865-wheel-fitment-whore-thread-stretch-flush.html
  21. finished up to putting a flange on it and welding it out. it sits pretty close to where i want it.. might take a little massaging to get it exactly where i want it, but right now it'll do me good enough to move onto other things.
  22. about how far into the movie is it so i don't spend the whole thing looking for it?
