Is the AFM grounded? is sounds kinda like it is running as if the AFM wasnt even there.

OK, now there are two 10 second Z's representing at the infineon, the other one is red, also chevy powered.

At first I tried turbocharging my car on NA electronics and tuning the afm for fuel, option 1: car runs fine off boost, but will not rev... option 2: car revs fine and drives good on boost, but runs pig rich 1-3000RPMs. If you pull it off more power to you.

maybe you just need a new clutch?

Well there goes another 250$... at least that will be all I need to get it running... oh it better be all I need to get it running... Maybe I will run out to the pick n pull, would a NA 83zx one work? I figure a crank angle sensor is a crank angle sensor right?

kinda off topic but you said you were going to boost it, dont bother trying to use NA electronics, Just a word of advise.

I am about to rewire my turbo 280z to run off an 83zxt ECU, Most of the process sounds easy enough and I am familiar with the wiring harness and have done plenty of searching. Right now my only question is this: On the 83 wiring harness there is a connection for the Crank angle sensor, I was told on the 83s that this sensor was in the distributor, now on my engine I am useing the distributor off my 77, Am I going to need to put in a 83 distributor or can I buy and put the sensor in what I have now? I dont really understand this one area of the conversion so ANY info or pics of said sensor would be wonderful. Thanks again guys. -Michael

yeah, if you mount it upside down the linakage should work... but thats just what Ive read. Also, isnt this swap pointless unless you port the intake manifold to match the larger TB/ Just something to consider
