  1. Seems to still be working for me. After doing this mod, keeping the mechanisms lubed longer term was a bigger issue. For some reason WD-40 worked better than lithium grease *shrug*.
  2. Yeah, I got PWND by Braap, try to find the 'Broken Head Stud' Thread

Lol.... I wonder if the paint even stuck to those arms...
  4. Well all I know is that I'm using LED bulbs from the same company in my Buick Regal, and they dim just fine. However that is because I didn't replace all of the bulbs with LEDS, hence my previous crazyiness.
  5. Nice! I'm running two of those same monitor. Not as great for gaming, but awesome color reproduction. I personally prefer horizonal spanning monitors though. Unless standing, I can't see your orientation being very comfortable to use. Impressive to look at though, for sure.
  6. My LED dash does not dim. For some reason I thought that leaving one incandescent bulb in would allow the LED's to dim... but I could be crazy.
  7. Wigen: Did you remove the cap from the end of the H4 bulb assembly?
  8. It's the one Downtown, edited the first post too, address is: 255 Courtland St. Atlanta, GA 30303
  9. Like the title says, I'll be visiting Atlanta from March 19th to the 22nd. I know there are more than a few Z guys in that area, so I figured I'd post up and see if anyone wants to meet up and get lunch, or organize a mini Z-meet. I'll be staying at the Hilton Atlanta Downtown, and will have carpooled and thus not have my own transportation, but I'm sure I can arrange to be dropped off somewhere for a few hours. I don't know anything about Atlanta, and therefore have no idea where a good place to meet would be, but I suppose the closer to the Hilton the easier it would be. Post up if you'd like to meet up, or have any ideas for a meeting place!
  10. Maybe someone can shop around and see if a shop would be willing to do a reduced price group buy of custom axles?
  11. I got ep 19 from post #281 above, but the tracker died a couple weeks ago and all seeds dissapeared right before ep 20 finished. Unfortunately for those who didn't get it yet, I haven't found ep 19 anywhere else. I've just found 20-22 here: http://wanganmidnightanime.blogspot.com/ Hopefully they'll continue subbing. Also, Eps 18 and 26 can be found here: http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1044.html
  12. Ooooh ahhhh new wheels and tires. Well, old wheels, but new tires. Found out these are "Western" brand wheels. The paint is cracking on one or two of them and will need a respray, and all of them are pretty dirty, but they look freakin sweet I think. The mags were cool... these are hot. Look at that wheel gap! The tires are "Epic Tour", usually $60 each but got them for $40 wholesale with free mount and balance, and they're 205/70/R14.
  13. For that price this is very tempting... I'll PM you when I get back into town. I've got my car running on EDIS with a DIY trigger wheel bolted on, and a crappy welded VR bracket... so this might be a nice upgrade.
  14. W00t. Now we just need a torrent of 18. Definitely not going to watch it on that streaming site, must have high quality!
  15. Had a blast this last time in Tulsa, so I sure plan to make this one!
  16. Car drove awesome today, loving the solid... everything That wasn't the spindle pin, that was trying to get the metal part of the inner LCA bushing to go in using your flawed installation method... Remember?
  17. As for today, I ditched the fusible links! After my alternator fiasco, the 80amp one got a bit melty (I think the PO just replaced it with wire ) Got the idea to use the Scosche audio blocks from Walmart from the atlanticz website, and got it installed and working in like 10min. W00t! Just need to work on wire routing and mount it permanently sometime down the road.
  18. About time I'm getting around to posting this... Last week from about Monday through Thursday was spent replacing all the bushings in the rear with poly, and attempting to install a LSD and RT mount. The LSD was a bust, come to find out it requires 30 spline axles, where I have 29 spline. The seller was unaware of this, and everyone is trying to work toward an affordable fix. For now I've put my old R180 back in, and it'll do fine for now. The rear shocks were completely blown, and the diff mount was separated, allowing the diff to rise up about 1.5" and slap the retaining strap every time I accelerated. So, with new poly bushings, the updated diff mount, Mat's old cut springs from flatblack, and his old tokicos, the car is SOLID. We also pulled the spindle pins to replace that joint's bushings, which is nice to have done. The pins were actually in good shape, so I reused them, and need to sell the ones I bought. Now it's a completely different car to drive, I LOVE IT.
  19. IIRC it wasn't hitting by much... maybe shaving the top poly bushing and removing the washer would be enough? *shrug*
  20. Whoop, sorry, meant to update. It's been going strong ever since, awesome stable voltages in MS, nice strong power from the alternator. I guess I just got a bad SX one. w00t
  21. Have we clearanced this in the car yet? I had a problem with the 5 star side stubs interfering with the LCA.
