I finally got my outer tie rod ends installed and had the car aligned again, and it's waaaaay better. Steering is very tight, but not a chore like it was. I also lubed up the brake calipers so the brakes don't squeal every time I touch the brakes. Soooo much nicer to drive the car now.

[This is Mat btw] I'm over at Chris' house, I took the board out to physically inspect it while going through the megamanual and DIYAT write up, and noticed that the pull up resistor we installed as per the megamanual was not installed in the DIY write up OR in Big Phil's video. I'm going out to the shop to see if this was our problem. Pictars:

I've had the same issue, '74 tach with edis, doesn't work with pin 2 of edis, or the diode method. Haven't tried Z-ya's circuit yet.

Haven't done too much till tonight, just been enjoying the boost. I still haven't installed my DIYat boost control stuff yet... soon to come hopefully. I did just buy a Meth kit, so that will have to go on later too. I've upgraded from the MSII extra 2.0.1 code to 2.1.0, and it seems good so far. One weird thing is that TPSdot got even noisier than it already was, so I've started playing with EAE. City driving is awesome in comparison, very smooth. I need quite a bit of work on shifts and lean tip-in though.

If i can get the tach out the back of the dash I'll try that first with the combined diodes, then try the MS tacho output.

Yeah I tried the IDM signal from edis to no avail. Next step would be to try the MS output.

First off I have a Late 260z, which if the wiring diagram was correct triggers off the negative side of the coil. Second, I don't believe the positive signal to the EDIS coil packs is switched, so I don't know that would provide a tach signal. If I can figure out how to get the tach out the back of the dash, or pull the dash entirely, I'll try that.

We think the fueling issue may be caused by some components I noticed missing from the PWM circuit, Q10 and Q13. We found them locally at RadioShack, so we'll probably try that tomorrow (2N3904 NPN).

Your coil won't spark further than 1mm. Your coil worked perfectly on James' car. We've triple checked your wiring. We've looked over the circuits on the board, everything checks out to the best of our abilities You've tweaked every setting in Megatune ... The HEI module is $15 and AZ has a return policy. I don't know why we're still talking about this

You need to put them in a zip or rar archive to upload them. Also, forgot to mention this the other day when we were talking about weak spark: Weak spark = Purple, only jumps a short gap Strong spark = White, can jump a longer gap

Pull the plug and unplug the injector to that cylinder. Leave the plug connected to the wire, and touch the body of it to a ground. See if the plug sparks while the motor is running.

Radioshack has them for 99c for two, so when I get a chance I guess I'll give this another go. I give up for now lol.
