    Def go with the can. Though I would suggest picking up a MBR in .308 while you still can as well. I'd vote going with an FAL, but the CETME/G3 platform would be decent as well. I wish I could get a can for my 10/22 here in Kali. I could have sooooooooooo much fun varminting then

    Bumping this. It actually seems like these are an almost ideal solution for people that want to SC their L engines. Mount it on the right, run a FMIC and then into the intake. Apparently HKS uses them for their 350Z SC kits, and they are used on a fair number of other high performance cars. I'd say go for it if you want, but I don't think anyone makes a bracket for it to mount to an L, so you'll probably have to fab one/get one fabbed

    Well, reading this thread and some others have caused me to want to see if I can build a super-turbo engine now. I'll be using PnP short blocks untill I get all the kinks worked out of it. Don't want to blow up anything I actually care about

    If I recall, there was a picture around here somewhere of a 280ZXT popping a wheelie with an L28et pushing not all that much power (compared to some members here) and a stock interior....I don't remember the thread though

    Seriously. I remember a thread about some Indy 500 car with a big honking turbo on the side of it, straight six, stock (commercial vehicle) internals, making some absurd amount of power. Except that I can't find the thread, and I'm not even sure if it was on HZ or another forum anymore.....and I was just looking at the thread about an hour ago

    Well.....It's that time of year again for me. The time when waking up in time for 8am class now has to include time to sit in the Z with my foot on the accelerator to keep the engine from dying while it warms up.

    lol. Well, I finally (after 10 months) got a job interview, so I might have to look into getting some cosmo, since I'm planning on turning my L30 into an L30et and storing all the parts I've got now.

    Point, but some of us can't afford to not use or sell stuff, so we know that if we cosmo it up, it's going to have to be UN-cosmolined at some point, which is going to suck. (since I don't think a cylinder head or similar could fit into my oven. Conrods and pistons, sure, but nothing else.
