  1. For the fronts it looks like if you use a z31 5 lug hub with z33 track rotor and z32caliper, it's only a bracket that wouldn't be too hard to make IF you had a mill.

  3. That makes sense. The 255 pilots are the same width as 245 rivals according to tire rack. Looks like I could squeeze another 1/2" or so of tire in there.
  4. It's heavy duty, that's for sure. I have never seen AZcar stuff in person, so I don't know what's better. The only complaint I have with the TTT stuff is that it's hard to get the car even. I had to put the tall 280Z strut bushing back on the rear because I couldn't get it high enough, and I can't get the front low enough to lo level the car. I guess it's made to be used with camber plates maybe? I had to crank the back up pretty hard that it's a very rough ride in the back while the front I have so far down that the spring is just starting to get loose. This is all with the car lifted off the ground. I would like the car to be an inch lower but I don't feel comfortable with having the spring rattle around almost an inch when the car is off the ground.

  6. I think there's a guy on LS1tech that's doing the same thing.
  7. I saw a picture where someone made 2 plates to fit where the rear bumper bolts on the 280 went (it was bumperless), and had a pipe bent into a long U and welded it between, T_________T like this . He put the ball on that and he would unbolt it off the car when not needed. I thought that was a good, simple idea. 0
  8. When I got my last car weighed, the little box had a second page that showed how much weight was on each individual wheel. It let you know exactly what was going on. Was there another page you missed?

  10. I used a wahlbro, probably not the best, but it seems to work fine. If you do go with a wahlbro, buy from a reputable vendor because apparently there are Chinese knockoffs out there that have a high failure rate.
  11. Mine came in. It's nice quality.
  12. Also what brand tires. Sumitomos 245s are 1.25" narrower than bf goodrich rival 245s. I know its "supposed " to all be 245mm wide, but apparently it ain't so.
  13. Someone said earlier the airtex only flows 30gph. I think the wahlbros flow around 55. Even though pressure is the same, volume isn't.
  14. http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/114638-1978-280z-gto-ls1-t56-ttt/page-8 Post 141 shows my new 245 rivals I just put on. These are on 17" G35 wheels, i believe from 03-04. The rivals are over an inch wider than the 245 sumitomos they replaced. This is with full TTT coilovers using 5 lug Q45 hubs in the back and 86 Z31 hubs in the front. with a wheel with maybe 1/4 or 1/2 inch less backspace 255s would probably fit.
  15. I have seen a few photos of people that looks like they have a 90 degree fitting on the service port on the fuel rail with a pressure gauge on it. Anyone know who makes those or what type of threads are on the service port?
  16. The series 1 jag convertible is a beautiful car. The hardtop looks out of proportion to me though. A really long low front then a short tall back. It just doesn't look right.
  17. I was talking to someone a few weeks ago who said 2 different dynos he went to showed about 65 hp difference. There is no weights and standards type body that checks to make sure all dynos are the same. He said the mustang dyno showed lower numbers than the other. Thats why its important to use the exact same dyno if youre doing any tuning on your car.
  18. I guess. I get it from the internets do I don't have to wait.
  19. On wheeler dealers Facebook page he said they bought a Z so there will probably be an episode on that soon.
  20. They figured out the gm stuff several years back in Europe and made a box to control it. It's a more popular swap over there since they've been doing it longer.
  21. I believe it just uses a potentiometer for a set amount of assist. In oem situations I believe it may lower and raise assist automatically based on speed, but this seems to just have a manual adjustment with a knob.
  22. I went to ace hardware because I had the same problem and found some really thin washers in the stainless section. They were cut washers so they seemed to be different thicknesses. I dug thru them all and got the 2 thinnest ones.
  23. And the vintage air works well, blows really cold. Only problem I have is I think I tried to run the drain hose too long and too up and down so the condensation leaks on the floor. Y'all know I don't like to drill new holes, but I think I won't have a choice.
