  1. Most cars have fairly straight arms, but the Z has an angle where the blade attaches. A better fit may e a rear wiper sunce some of those are offset, but getting the right length and spline will probably be a huge challenge. Something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omix-Ada-19710-06-Rear-Windshield-Wiper-Arm-for-97-02-Jeep-Wrangler-/141371134424?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20ea6051d8&vxp=mtr
  2. I was in a jy a while back and there was a nb miata and s30 a few cars apart. I took the miata wipers and put them on the z. They did seem to fit but the wiper blades weren't parallel to the bottom of the windshield, they were up at an angle, so they didn't match the car right. Is that the same problem as the NA wipers?
  3. Last night while flipping channels I ran across this. It was largely commercial for all the sponsors but it had snippets from all the competitions. There was a road rally, autox, road course, build quality and stop box I think. Every once on a while you would see a. 240 for a flash. It was a pro touring event. In the end when they showed the winners the 240 got 1st place in the under 3000 pound class. It was at Laguna seca and the guys name was Mark Frazier? Anyone know if there are videos of this out there somewhere that show more of the Z?
  4. I'm not sure, that wasn't on us. We took pictures and a walk around video of it starting and showing it being loaded onto the trailer in perfect condition. Document everything!
  5. My dad sold a car that went to Germany. It was a 59 corvette. It was trucked to Florida then shipped to Germany. The guy met it at the port in Germany. It had gotten a busted windshield and gained 100 miles on the odometer between here and there when it probably should have only gotten about 2.
  6. That's not my shop. The mess that's there is all from me!

  8. Nobody should have any trouble seeing you from the back. Those things are bright!
  9. I came from old British cars. People used to use stuff like this fairly regularly.

  11. Or buy bolts drilled for safety wire.
  12. https://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images;_ylt=A0LEVxRHmdZTUjsA8MdXNyoA?p=stage+8+header+locking+bolts&fr=moz35&fr2=piv-web I wonder if you can find header locking bolts properly sized and strong. Then you could just weld a bead or 2 near the bolt for the lock to stop against. Or ones with a long enough locking tab to hit against the other bolt.
  13. That's what I keep telling myself. I really want to do it all and as right as I can the 1st time, so once it's done, all I have to worry about is putting gas in it and driving it. No more taking it apart for anything major hopefully. ( Until I want more power!)
  14. Thanks. It's about time. I started this project over a year ago. I still have some to do before it will move under its own power.
  15. Does anyone know if the Scarab front air dam and rear spoiler is reproduced by anyone?
  16. Thanks. Actually Monday was the big day but just got around to posting it. That was with open headers. Hope to finish all wiring inside the car, put dash, steering wheel and a seat in it by Sunday next week to be able to bring it to an exhaust shop the following week so I can at least start shake down driving it before it all starts goin back together.
  17. It can connect to the battery or the starter, which ultimately connects back to the battery to get charged.

  19. http://m.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1649755 There was a thread on there that had like 3 different wiring scenarios depending on the alternator used. I'll see if I can find it in my history. This is what I used to wire my alternator in the LS1 Datsun but I only have 1 wire in the small if.
  20. I lucked out on that both times. When I went to remove the engine my friend was there on his forklift and when i went to put it in same thing. Both times he volunteered. I was going to use the lift to do it as I hate messing with the cherry pickers. It was really nice that the forks could slide left and right a little.
  21. I think it was a blue wire that went from the light to the datsun alternator.
