  1. That looks like the old VW pickups with drop sides that were basically just a chopped off bus. I actually think it is a VW T3 going back and lookimng at it.
  2. Wasn't it Anthony Colin Bruce Chapman that said something about every car has traction control and its attached to the bottom of your legs? Or was that the guys who made the viper? Can't remember now, I guess I'm getting old.
  3. That's great to hear! I think I should be charging mine sometime this coming up week.
  4. What size are those wheels? Traction will be an issue. I was talking to this guy earlier this week with an 08 Vette with a built up engine and a procharger. it had 325s on the back I think, and he said he could spin them at 100. That's with almost 800 RWHP.
  5. Just checked your website, do you have any completed pictures of the Tatra? I went to their museum 6 or 7 years ago and they made some really cool cars over the years.
  6. I found online that the Z has an LS2 and I think automatic.
  7. I just saw the preview for that, set the DVR to see what its about.
  8. Definitely remove the vinyl. There used to be places that would put vinyl tops on any car back in the 70s. They seemed to make roofs rust under them though.
  9. Most cars have fairly straight arms, but the Z has an angle where the blade attaches. A better fit may e a rear wiper sunce some of those are offset, but getting the right length and spline will probably be a huge challenge. Something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omix-Ada-19710-06-Rear-Windshield-Wiper-Arm-for-97-02-Jeep-Wrangler-/141371134424?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20ea6051d8&vxp=mtr
  10. I was in a jy a while back and there was a nb miata and s30 a few cars apart. I took the miata wipers and put them on the z. They did seem to fit but the wiper blades weren't parallel to the bottom of the windshield, they were up at an angle, so they didn't match the car right. Is that the same problem as the NA wipers?
  11. Last night while flipping channels I ran across this. It was largely commercial for all the sponsors but it had snippets from all the competitions. There was a road rally, autox, road course, build quality and stop box I think. Every once on a while you would see a. 240 for a flash. It was a pro touring event. In the end when they showed the winners the 240 got 1st place in the under 3000 pound class. It was at Laguna seca and the guys name was Mark Frazier? Anyone know if there are videos of this out there somewhere that show more of the Z?
  12. I'm not sure, that wasn't on us. We took pictures and a walk around video of it starting and showing it being loaded onto the trailer in perfect condition. Document everything!
  13. My dad sold a car that went to Germany. It was a 59 corvette. It was trucked to Florida then shipped to Germany. The guy met it at the port in Germany. It had gotten a busted windshield and gained 100 miles on the odometer between here and there when it probably should have only gotten about 2.
  14. That's not my shop. The mess that's there is all from me!
  15. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/repeal-dotepa-%E2%80%9C25-year-rule%E2%80%9D-car-import-ban-15-years-and-allow-importation-non-conforming-cars-and/PhZ4RMgz Not sure if these things really have any effect but it may be something a lot of people here are interested in. 16. Nobody should have any trouble seeing you from the back. Those things are bright!
  17. I came from old British cars. People used to use stuff like this fairly regularly.
