  6. awesome man.. heh.. look how itty the T3 looks LOL... cant wait to see some progress pics Jeff..
  7. Hey moby can you elaborate on the over run settings? I see it under more settings, what RPM generally would someone set that at? got a screen shot of what yours is? I dont have that setup and think that would be beneficially to street cruising.
  8. awesome vids Phil!!!.. I hope to get some dyno time in my Z in a week or so..
  9. I didnt have to hone mine and I secdond the i would ever put heat to a dampener that uses rubber and glue.. I put a spot of glue on the woodruff key to keep it in place..
  10. Not bad phil, not bad at all. I am sure there is power to gain.. Nice tq numbers man!! Chris's car seems like its doing awesome!!! cant wait to see the vids.
  11. I have the power force dampener from MSA.. I have the 90 dollar one. So far it is doing great. Some say on here that they are a bit tough to get on.. but I didn't really have any troubles. I have put maybe 1000 miles on it so far. It seems to rev really smooth. I have only taken it up to about 6500.
  12. yeah should be a one piece gasket
  13. Thanks for all the advice guys. I decided to go ahead and take it all apart tonight, intake mani, exhaust mani and turbo, I was successful in using the helicoil. Expencive little bugger but seemed to work great!! I cut all the heat wrap off for now.. Not sure if I am going to re wrap it or not. My exhaust manifold was jet hot coated and heh.. after it being heat wrapped.. a bunch of it flaked off.. Kinda tells me that the manifold was getting alittle warm eh? I do know this though.. with the heat wrap on there I could touch my intake manifold even after sitting in traffic, which is something I never really could do before.. So I am debating on heat wrapping it again or not.. Some have had great success and others have not.. Oh and Jeff, yeah my gasket was toast.. so a new one is in order.. no biggie though.. Thanks again guys!!
  14. I noticed when I got back from DNI I had a exhaust leak.. Well the last exhaust stud on the head(closest to the firewall) stripped.. not the stud itself but the threds in the head. My turbo manifold is jet hot coated and I wrapped it with header wrap.. Wondering if the header wrap made the manifold too hot and possible warped it? Has anyone else had anything like this happen?? I am going to probably helicoil the hold to fix it..
  15. Im going with 412.. rwhp.. heh LETS GET A POOL GOING GUYS!!.. winner gets hmmmm... a free pair of jack stands LOL.. j/k...
  16. I have this pulley installed on my L28ET using MS&S. I think I might be off by 5 deg or something. the 5 different timing marks make it hard to tell whats what.. So far I have revved it to 6500 and seems really smooth.
  17. thats almost my wifes Tag, it is Wignout.. Tell your dad I said Hi, heh
  18. the bottom one is supposed to read (not stock)
  19. thinking since I got the Z back on the road I might personalize my plate when its time for renewal. I really like the old Zkool theme.. heh..
  20. Yeah thats how rick did my fan control and she seems to be working awesome!
  21. I'm making side supports out of aluminum strap and I'm making a piece that holds it to the front of the car so air can only go to the rad and intercooler. Right now it feels pretty stable but it being pretty thin fiberglass I can see it cracking fairly easy. We will see how it goes.
  22. Well I got her back on the road Sunday.. went for a short drive. I found I was leaking coolent from the front of the block somewhere.. jacked her up.. finally found a small crack in the water pump.. took her off and noticed the smallest of cracks.. looks like a casting defect or something.. I must have cracked it when tightening everything up. So got a new water pump. threw her on.. went for a 60mile drive last night on the interstate over the bay way. It sure drives great.. no over heating issues, intake temps are awesome.. stopped at about 30 miles and I could actually touch my intake mani it was just barely warm!! I need to do some tuning Im getting around 13.6-14.0 AFRs for cruising. In boost I really need to work on it.. Hopefully with Rick on Saturday before DNI!..It sure feels good driving the Z again after 10 months of down time..
  23. I don't have the hood on it yet but here is a couple of shots.
