personally, im kinda neutral on the new lambo, i niether like it nor dislike it. But the performance of the 6.0 is undeniable. I think thats a new gallardo though.. maybe. im not really sure. And is it just me, or is the dude in the Z laughing?

what Jonzer said is basically what i was trying to tell u the other night, you need to spend a lot more time researching and just seeing what people go through in general, i got the impression the other night you want a cool car but you really dont know much about cars in general. which isnt bad, but jumping into something like this with a lack of base like that will get you in WAY over your head. Just trying to look out for ya, we can help you best we can, but we cant do everything over the internet, its gonna take A LOT of custom work.

7mgte in the states was 86.5-92.5 supra turbo's. the 1jz was never state side. Best 1jz to get in my honest opinion is from a 90-92.5 supra. with the 5 speed. the soarer had it up untill 1998 i believe, there tons of variations of the 1jz in the 90's. vvti- twin and single turbos. came in chasers, mark 4 and 5 tourer, some kind of station wagon, and in one other car that im forgetting aside from the supra and soarer.

I agree with above, its a good idea that has gotten itself WAY out of hand. The groups have take the ideas a little too far in my opinion and in some cases are bottle feeding these kids into places where they would NEVER make it, id be interested to see just how successful those kids are after they are put through college. Im jewish, and there are several scholarships just for Jews, and I didnt sign up for any of them for that exact reason, i want to earn a scholarship for my academic merit and my financial need, not for being a certain religion.

I love the r33, its like one of two cars I MUST own before i die to die happy, the r33 and the jza80, ill be sublimely happy with my life if i can walk out to my garage just once and see those 2 cars, modded and sitting side by side.

well you can only get them in automatic (although apparently rod millen makes a bellhousing to make the v160 6speed fit.) The 1uz is a strong smooth motor, it would be fast, but not raw and ridiculous like most old school v8s would be. You can mod them, they make plenty of power, and a pretty much stock 1uz with an open exhaust is THE best sounding motor i have ever heard.

I see that toysport says it, but im sticking to what i said, they made a mistake. Unless you can find a factory JDM soarer with a 2jzgte, im not seeing it, ive been there, ive seen MANY soarers and NEVER seen or heard of a Factory 2jzgte soarer, only the jza80 got the 6 speed ones, and the aristo and a few other cars got auto versions, the soarer wasnt one of them. I could be wrong, but i really swear im correct, and normally id just say ok, but i can almost swear on my life that they misprinted what they meant to write. they had the 2.5 all the way up till they moved to the brand new one. when i get a chance, ill grab the same list off some japanese soarer sites, the 2jzgte is a common swap, but not a factory option. http://www.dcimports.com.au/facts.htm http://web.ukonline.co.uk/soarertt/index.htm

the latest soarer, 2002 or whatever, our sc430 came with the 1uz, previous to that it was either a 1jz or a na 2j, single turbo 1jz with vvti was the most wanted soarer engine, in the late 80's, early 90s they came with the older 1jz and a 7m and 7mgte.

I really cant see why it would be much harder, maybe a little because the factory wiring on a 280zx may be a little more complicated, but even so, its not like you dont have to do some cutting and pasting for an s30 either.

maybe im wrong, but i thought diesels had abnormally big hot sides with a relatively small compressor size as compared to what is normally used for turbo street cars.

i had a car like that once, calipers were fubar'd, rotors where broken Just like that , the rear shoes had turned to dust just laying in the drum, all this on an explorer,(like they dont have enough trouble), and get this, we gave him the estimate, and he wanted us to put it back together so he could take it someplace else for another estimate, even though i SHOWED him that, needless to say we called the cops and he explained to the customer it was unfit to be driven and needed to be towed, so he let us do the work.
