  1. Thanks, I've got to put a new Master Cyl in and when I do, I want to make sure that I do everything I need the first time. I am putting in a 15/16 ZX replacment, and my booster is new but it was shipped and I don't know if that disk fell out or what. Of course, I can't do much testing as my car has no engine...
  2. Thanks, keep the thread living!
  3. Damn! I might have to re-do mine now! LIKEY!!!

  5. Here's a WRX thread discerning the differences between the WRX R160 and the WRX STi R180 http://i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6146 I guess I need to find an STI R180. Doesn't sound like a cheap source...
  6. BAH, let's just forget about this AH!
  7. I think he's about 14-1/2 minutes into it... The fact that we hit his site and try to figure out what this turd is about is most likely what he's after. He's got to be a very unhappy SOMETHING OR OTHER. I can't bring my self to call him a guy... Damn he's a weak looking sucker...
  8. Re-open this discussion? I have a line on a couple of WRX R-160's. 1. Anyone HERE have any experience w/ these 2. Are they a direct Bolt in swap for the R-180? 3. Downsides? Thanks...
  9. Don't most aftermarket shift knobs come w/ adapters for different thds? What type of material is on the inside of your knob? Plastic or metal? If it's plastic, then you and probably xthread it on to your shifter ONCE, but I'd probably put some thread lock or something on there to help it keep. If it's metal, and you REALLY want the knob, you'll either have to find a plastic sleeve that will make up the difference between the current shifter (hopfully smaller and your knob diameter) and thread it on. If the hole in the knob is smaller than the shifter stick, then you'll have to take it to a shop or stick it in a vice and drill it out and re-tap it to match. I'd look for some sort of thread adapter, I know they are out there.
  10. I don't know much about spring dynamics but those fronts are WAY compressed. Measure the distance between the coils as it sits and I'd guess you have about 2-3 times that in wheel travel before you bottom out the spring, that's your bouncy. The rears look more normal... Zoldman you still around? Can you chime in on your solution?
  11. Probably since I don't think any car I've ever had, has one... Buy it and let us know...
  12. Havn't had any experience w/ these, but I am working on an RC rocket boat...so I can tell you once you get the engine tuned, get a rocket w/ the about the same amount of lift that your RC buggy weighs and it will...fly...
  13. Find a 60's wagon, clean it up, slam it and put 18-19" wheels on it and your gold....
  14. Admins! Please Remove This Thread! ...............
  15. Sure, I thought these were up but I think the sony imagstation site isn't always working. Anyway, here are a couple of shots. I had to replace my floorpans so I installed the connectors after I cut out the floors and then tied in the new floors into the connectors. Everything is super rigid! I don't have a pic of the rails by themselves though... DOH! I used Pete Paraska's blueprints and modified them to work w/ my situation. Test fit drivers side before welding everything up (you can see how it fits right over the front subframe)..... Shot of new floor pans and connector from the inside.... Underside from front to back, I basically cut the top off of the 2x3 tubing for the front pc so it would wrap around the existing frame. Cleaned and tacked and then finished seaming it all up. Takes a while due to the Z metal being crappy and thin... Rear of connector, it's sectioned like pete's blueprint specs and fits around the rear subframe of the car....
