well i guess a way to see if its coming from the valve cover for sure would be to disconnect the hose to the valve cover and put a small air filter on the valve cover instead and see if it gets covered in oil when you run it....maybe a place to start.

no haha he knows. he picked me up. it was my parents that i was worried about because they... well you know how parents are. i just told my mom that someone went through a red light at an intersection so i threw the bike down.

i was taking a turn and there was gravel so i started to slide. i knew i was going to crash at that point so i just straightened the bike and tried to lose as much speed as possible. i ended up crashing into the dirt on the side of the turn going somewhere between 13-9 mph. on the fork the left one is bent in that u can tell by the naked eye, the right im sure need to be replaced but it doesn't look bent. the front rotors look staright, i dont think theres anything wrong with the calipers. the ferrings are a little bit scratched up but they didnt crack or anything, and the tail of the bike is completely cracked. ill try and get some pictures up tommorow. what else do you think could be wrong with it that would keep it from riding other than the forks being bent? btw the bike starts up fine and doesnt make any weird nosies or have any leaks or anythings.

so guys my i crashed my brothers bike today on redwood road, i messed up the front fork badly. i was wondering since i know nothing really about bikes where should i get a new or used front forks from so i can fix my brothers bike, and is it difficult to replace, i looked at it and it doesnt seem to be too hard but i could be wrong. its a 2001 cbr f4i btw any help would be great because i need to get this thing back on the road for him as quick as possible especially since summer is about to start

And i actually just went to the police department, the cop there was being a complete dick, and he wouldn't even answer my questions, so i just left and decided to ask you guys.

So just go and pay it on monday and they wont increase the fine or anything?

Ok so i got a ticket a while back, like in January and i forgot to pay it. they sent me another notice in the mail saying i have to pay it by June 6th, i tried to pay it today but the courts closed before i could get there. So what do i do now, its says if i dont pay it by the 6th(which is on SAT when the courts are closed) then the fine will go up to $500 dollars and they will suspend my licenses. Anyone have any idea of what i should do!

I agree with the posts rule. but i don't know how efficient it will be, because i bought from this guy Turbo280Z who had 88 posts and he still stole 150$ from me(i was the buyer). And it isn't fair to people like above , who have been members for a long time and just don't post very often.

im pretty sure eec564 is right about it being a vacuum leak, i have the exact same problem with my car and it turned out i had a HUGE leak on my intake mani gasket.

hey guys, i was wondering if you have the s12+8 for vented rotors can they still be used for a solid rotor anyways?

if someone tails me just say on a 50mph road. what i usally do is i let off the gas untill im going about 15mph and i just stay at that speed. i get a good laugh out of it...i only do it to assholes on the road

actually im 95% sure they had a 280zx there also with a 5sp tranny! unless did u mean u were looking for a t5...and they also have a 76 280z there..

For anyone that is interested, i was at the pick and pull in Oakland CA and there were two turbo 280zxs, both had automatic trannys and one still has the engine in it. most of the stuff on the cars is still there, so go quick if you need anything!!!

did u guys really like Tokyo drift, i mean i really like the racing scenes, but as far as the movie went i felt embarrassed to watch it with how dorky the lines were lol. The only cool character in the movie was han, and they killed him. plus how can u have a cool movie with little bow wow...seriously

I just saw it and i wasn't very impressed. i enjoyed watching it, and i will probably watch it again haha, but could have been better, it was definitely better than the 2 and 3rd one story wise, but i think they should have showed us better shots of all the cars. Hopefully the 5th one will be better(If they make it)

Oh, another thing you might wanna check, what happened to me was my cam actually was pushed a little to far back and the little nub thing on the can wouldn't reach the hole in the sprocket. so all i had to do was push my cam forward a little bit.

The head isnt on, its just the short block which ive already taken out, ive been a bum and still have looked at it yet, but will putting oil on top of the pistons really help...if the rings were the problem? Oh and thanks for the pictures Swervey McZCar, i will be using them as soon as i find the time with my busy/popular life haha, but seriously thanks
