  1. Anybody who uses a DIY like that, and takes it word for word should NOT be doing the job IMHO. Its a good basic walk through, I did read it to see whats involved. Evan
  2. BJ, I have used that style breaker alot of times in car audio installations. They work well, but over time you may find it begins tripping too easily. This is especially the case if the breaker has been tripped a bunch of times. Prob. won't ever be an issue just wanted to give you heads up! The rockford wire is of good quality, nice choice. Evan
  3. Obviously pulling works WITHIN REASON. I was once using an open ended wrench to remove a seatbelt from a car. It was some chinese POS wrench. It slipped, and I gave myself a bloody nose. Worst part, was that my buddies all saw it happen. They laughed their asses off. Evan
  4. Anything can break, thats for sure. I sheared off a 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch adapter on a breaker bar that was 18" long. I was putting a wheel on! It was def. less then 100ft/lb. It was a craftsman pos unit. Always protect your hands, I was lucky. Try to PULL instead of PUSH when you are really forcing something. Your less likely to fall forward with the weight of your body. Evan
  5. I already bought GT4 last night. Thanks for the suggestions. I can get GT3 dirt cheap used as well. Evan
  6. Do you guys have a suggestion for the PS2? I have the logitech pro steering wheel etc.. I have not owned a video game system in years, what do you recommend? Evan
  7. He did put an injector driver in, I wonder if it filled the cats with fuel and lit off? Evan
  8. Did you see his mods? Injector driver, coils and wires? WTF who cares. Car still looks bone stock. Why would you continue to let the car run like that? Evan
  9. pparaska is the owner of the sweet blue z I do believe.
  10. Look at the rear quarter shot, i think the fender is sitting ON the tire. Evan
  11. What the heck is a floating lug nut? I have been looking on the net and cannot find any references to it!! I am actually very interested in this! Evan
  12. +35 offset from what I can gather. I am almost sure they will need a spacer. IMO using 5x112 wheels is not a good idea. Zcar wheels are lug-centric, and rely on the lugnuts to center the wheel. You may have to run an adapter anyway to make them fit, so you should have them made to convert to the correct lug pattern. Evan
  13. Cool tip. Same deal with many of the higher end benzes. Evan
  14. If you can rotate the outside ring, don't drive it. You are asking for disaster if that thing comes off or breaks apart. I know you "need" the car back together, but your safety is not worth the risk. Evan
  15. Old thread, but there is NOT much in the way of performance brake pads available for the front q calipers. Evan
  16. I had a big deep cycle SVR that was a total piece of crap. Optimas are fine as long as they never go dead. I had a yellowtop take a dump after 1.5 years.
  17. Looks very good. Nice work. You should be proud of that. I totally agree with the edges though. I would hate to have you cut yourself up!! Evan
  18. Why do you want to do this? To run a wider wheel/tire? The problem is, if you stuff a wider wheel in the wheelwell you will decrease turning radius drastically. Your wheel / tire will hit the frame rail/wheelwell. You would have to redo the wheel housings and front frame area as well. The front suspension in my S14 leaves nothing to be desired. The 300zx uprights for the rear are fine. Its hardly a drop in setup by any stretch. IMO there is no reason to swap front suspensions unless your doing something crazy! Good luck with whatever you do. Evan
  19. Grand turismo 4 is the last racing game I played. My dad has the steering wheels and everything for it. He just got a PS2. That is one seriously fun time. The steering wheel is where its at! No idea for PS3 though. Evan
  20. Tough call. IMO put the 240sx up for an outrageous price and see if you have any takers! Evan
