  1. Yep! well there are a few slight differences, for example the rearward mounted distributors vs. front. but i guess the biggest discrepancy is that this engine was found in the 166 corsa spyder http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/frame.php?file=car.php&carnum=2672 Anyone else want to start it again?
  2. That is not another set of valve covers, I'm guessing more along the lines of distributor(s) and no, its not in a boat. (good question though) perhaps...
  3. It is not a flat headed engine. yes... one of those "foreign jobbers"
  4. it is definitely only one V engine...
  5. Guess the engine... Post up your pics of any unrecognizable engines and let the guessing begin! I will start this little game:
  6. I'm bringing back an old thread, because I will be ordering their floors soon for my car, and I didn't feel like starting a new thread about an old topic. This cutting and shaping, is it just so that the new floors will fit up against the contour of the original floor? how should i support the car, if I don't end up doing the tack bracing? Support by the suspension or the chassis?
  7. You can turn the engine backwards from the camshaft side of things to maintain proper tension on the chain.
  8. he didn't specify units... 0-60ft/m? ft/hr? i think its the last one
  9. those videos are soo dumb! that thing just stands there with the flame throwers firing. Any idiot can mount a flame thower to the arm of a useless robot. in other matters, brandonz i believe you have a 1972 570z not a 350z.
  10. still need the pin height to calculate everything. Edit: I got a pin height of 31.75mm... is that correct? with that pin height, and ozdats online calculator: 2.927 litres 7.236 static cr with a 1mm head gasket
  11. you cant just x off that pipe comming of the back-right side of the supercharger. If i'm not mistaken, that is the pipe that the intercooler would feed into, and it is quite crucial. You would also need a throttle body somewhere, as the current throttle body seems to be crossed off as well.
  12. sounds like your personal goals... I think your prospective shop car should be a half scale 240z with a l20b in it... driveable of course!
  13. Do alot of people build a truck from scratch like that? or are you a pioneer? I remember seeing a few videos of this sport but most were in production trucks.
  14. eh, its just an R180 right?
  15. I got one from o'reilly auto and it has a lifetime warranty. It's still good after 2-1/2 years
  16. Man that is so cool! I love road trips. Especially when things go (mostly) as planned. Nice wagon! gonna throw a 6 in it?
  17. do you really need all that stereo to get sideways?
  18. I get 210-220 psi across my 6 cyl. I have 10.3:1 CR with: flat-top pistons .040" over N42 head N42 block (not that it changes anything) You should be able to run on pump gas
  19. hahaha you people are all going to laugh... This is like the punch line to a very bad joke... It was the POSITIVE terminal! and that was all. Two days downtime caused by a seemingly unfaulty, yet oh so faulty battery terminal connection. now to get back out there and plug in all the harnesses I just unplugged under the dash thanks for all the help you guys!
  20. ez2wire will be my last resort. I hope I don't have to do all that 'cus the car was acting fine before any of this ever happened.
  21. I hate to keep updating this thread but I need help now! I'm seriously considering rewiring the entire car!
