  1. I guess you schedule it by days of the month really? even her? she look's kinda p.o.'d at the idea. lol
  2. I'd say u-haul also. That way you could get all your stuff up there, all your buddies stuff, and maybe even your car, in one rental, and you would save on a plane ticket up there.
  3. yeah, I was searching through google and came across this: http://www.advanceautoparts.com/english/youcan/html/res/res20030901zc.html nothing new, but it's there!
  4. thats beautiful. Now that I think about it I remember seeing those pics a while back. Congrats on owning the shop. If that was me I would make a house up in that attic area and live right above my garage a dream come true!

  9. My dad: "oh jeez, all that modification, and its still a Z" well since everyone else is posting pics of other cars: I like pop-up headlights too!!! except when they don't work!
  10. from the fuel injection bible: "from the fuel pump, fuel flows to a fuel "damper," mounted right next to the pump. The damper acts like a shock absorber. It has a diaphragm which is under spring pressure. If the fuel pump puts out pressure surges then these surges push against the diaphragm and are absorbed by the spring instead of makeng them felt all the way to the injectors and thus possibly affecting engine performance." "the fuel damper also acts as a muffler - that is, it keeps the pressure surges from making noises which could be heard by the driver." I had about half of it right
  11. thanks for that! Thats about as close as I'll get to ron carter's #46 replica. (unless it comes to a car museum near me)

  13. I like it. Simple solution to a complex problem. The only thing I don't like is the price!
  14. A simple car wash brush with soap and water gets all the bugs off of mine after long trips.
  15. what a drag... I really want to ge ta radar detector, for that extra peace of mind, but i have a feeling I will probably just get over confident. If I ever got a ticket AND i had a radar detector, I would be really po'd.
  16. They sell the conversion kits at autozone. Doesn't seem that hard, jsut replace the o-rings and recharge the system.
  17. extige=exige. it is my understanding that for forced induction you probably don't want as much duration (well, really its overlap, but with that much duration you're going to have overlap). This is to prevent (especially on supercharged cars) the intake charge from being blown straight out the exhaust, without ever getting to see a spark. You definitely want lower compression for any forced induction application, but more so on a L-series with its in-eficient 2valve technology. If you are doing a rebuild, go ahead and plan for the supercharger by dialing in a lower CR. good luck!
  18. Nice pics! I'm diggin the wheels, paintjob and the engine! such a simple look. i like it alot!
