  1. The pic above of the header sitting on a wheel is a greddy header. It used to be mine and is the one 280zforce has now. Very nice header. JT
  2. That sucks man. Never heard anything about the rod bolts failing on these motors. Hate to hear it, especially since I'm trying to make mine more streetable since I sold my trailer and am trying to sell my tow vehicle! Looks like a pretty straight 510! I have been looking around for a clean body for a while but they all seem to be over on the west coast. JT
  3. Nice. We picked up a silver 04 TSX with the 6 spd for my fiance several months back and love it. Only problem we've had out of it is the illumination on the radio and climate control went out which is a very common problem. The warranty on that was extended to 7 yr/100k just for that reason. Looks great. JT
  4. I didn't take these but thought they were kinda nice. They are from the Import Face Off in Montgomery, AL this past weekend.
  5. I had a bad experience with the XO Racing 44 mm wastegate on ebay. Supposed to be a knockoff of the tial 44. The casting was very rough. JUst felt cheap made. I put it on and could not get it to seal. You could put your hand over the outlet and feel the exhaust leaking out. ALso, when the spring is tightened all the way it won't open. I put an air hose to it and it also leaked air from all around the side of the body. WHen I pulled it apart the diaphram wasn't seated right. Put it back together and it doesn't leak air but still leaks exhaust and won't open under pressure. I bought a tial 44 and called it a day. I'll never buy another cheap wastegate. JT
  6. I just found them as well. Can't imagine how he got caught! LOL. JT
  7. Where'd you come across those pics? I've looking around to see if any would pop up but have only found one. Those are nice. As far as turbo Dave goes......noone PUT him in that class. You pay extra and sign up for the class you want to be in. He put HIMSELF in the Street Class which requires DOT tires and a muffler. Tech was a joke....they didn't look at anything...just wrote a number on the car. Someone noticed he had slicks on the truck and said something. For the record, it wasn't me or Eric (the guy that won) and as far as I'm concerned he owes us both an apology. The way he acted was uncalled for. Rules are here BTW. http://www.importfaceoff.net/race_rules.htm They are easy to follow. Noone's fault but his own. Also, there was noone else in the class on slicks. Those were in test and tune or another class (the FWD class allows slicks). Who's to say he would have kicked our asses anyway. Hope to see you at the next one. JT Oh yeah, although the track was better than the past 2 years it was still not very sticky. I was cutting high 1.5 60 ft Friday at our local track and bested a 1.70 on Sunday at the event. I was having hell with traction all through first gear every run which is why I only ran a 10.5. I was hoping to see my first 9 sec pass Sunday.
  8. Definately the L28 is money is a big concern. JT
  9. GSL-392 x 2 here as well. Good pumps for about $100 ea. You should only need one starting out though. JT
  10. Been trying to get in touch with him lately myself. If you get ahold of him tell him to call me. JT
  11. Definately somewhere between 515 and 615 rwhp. I would guess somewhere on the upper end of that. JT
  12. Weak link in my experience is the piston ringlands. My bone stock motor made 500+hp for sometime, reliably. It wasn't until I pushed it over 600 rwhp on pump gas that I started breaking stuff and the ringland was the first to go (no need for a metal headgasket on a stock motor! lol) JT
  13. Here's the 489hp dyno (5 spd w/ no nitrous) and a 594 (auto with nitrous). I guess I don't have the 615 hp sheet printed. JT
  14. I put in the built th350 about a year ago and have never looked back. So much better with a big turbo than the 5 spd. JT
  15. No 35r here. I have been running a t04r "big kahuna" for quite a while which is what made the 489 rwhp. I have a gt4094r bolted up at the moment but haven't gotten everything finished yet. I'll try to run down my dyno sheets and post them later today. JT
  16. I made 615 rwhp @ 20psi on 93 octane on stock cams through an automatic. ....with the help of some nitrous. Made 489 rwhp at 20psi with the 5 spd. I'll have to find the dyno sheet to get more info for you. JT
