You are in the same boat I've been in for some time now. I am waiting on my new nozzle to try the gas again. Hopefully it will work well for both of us. Looking forward to seeing your car again with the new setup. I was hoping to give you a run with some race gas and nitrous but I think You've got me whooped, regardless.

Just curious, but why are you building a motor to only make 400-500hp? My rb25 makes 489 rwhp with me tuning it and on pumpgas. This is on a completely stock longblock, down to the factory headgasket and head bolts. Just some food for thought.

I went ahead and put the n1 water pump on my car before the engine went in. I believe that was all I changed.
Yeah, I took the clutch off my L28 turbo and put it directly onto the rb flywheel.
My car is a 280 so the factory trans mount is a little diferent than your 240z mount I believe. I had to cut the "ears" off the tunel and a buddy of mine fabbed some new ones up and welded them on the tunnel in the appropriate place to mount the rb trans. He also welded some steel plate to the tunnel first to weld the new ears onto.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Very nice. I would love to get ahold of a clean coupe. You just can't find them in this part of the country....seems like all the clean old datsuns are on the west coast.
Good find!

Finished installing the nitrous kit tonight and went to test it out. First time I stepped into it I got a nice backfire and the rpm's shot straight up. When I pulled over this is what I found. Going to make an attempt to get it fixed tomorrow afternoon but I really don't see it happening. So once again, I will be at SEZ with no Z.
