  1. this guys hasnt posted anything on his car for 3 years atleast.... i may be wrong but i think he scraped or sold his project
  2. OLD and FAKE. it was a commercial for some video phone. kind of the same as that car that chops off the cat head with its sunroof.
  3. motorrex should be able to get you anything you need along with any of the other imports on teh west coast. hope your not in a hurry BTW i have an OS Giken triple with low milage and a r33 gts-t route 6 5 speed (RWD) tranny with close ratio gearing that im selling also let me know if your interested
  4. Scottie, you are correct Sir, This is why i wanted to dyno the car before i ripped everything out so i could get an idea where the torque curve was. A 5500 stall with a 6000flash should work well. It might be a bit high but we will see. I plan on changing out the exhaust housing to a smaller unit which should help out in the lag department. the transbrake will load the motor...that and the combination or a 2 step should bring the power on alot earlier. well at least i hope. 240ztt sorry been out of touch but i have crashed and reformatted my computer 10 times over and lost everbodies adress. i guess that will teach me not to keep computer copies only
  5. You are entitled to your opinion . And yes it is a go fast straight car that will be driven on the street. It wont be the most comfortable car but it will obliterate anything else on the street and give most track cars ( all track cars in alaska) a run for there money .
  6. it drives around like a 2.7 L na motor on the street... it is very streetable. the triple plate clutch is a little hard to drive but i wont have that in my Z i will have an automatic :>
  7. yea that was 6000 rpm i made the change.
  8. Yea you heard it. dynoed my new motor today. made 610rwhp. Didnt start making power till 6000rpm but when it did it was silly. had an almost verticle line on the dyno sheet for HP and torque. I have video and dyno slips i will post when i get back from japan. Specs rb26dett, T-8834D, 720cc injectors, 280 cams with 11.5 MM lift, full head porting, ect ect motor is good for 700+ the dyno run that generated 610 HP was done at 1.8 K booste and stopped at 7900 rpm due to the breakin period not finished :< will be tuned at 2.2 K boost and run up to 9500RPM. this combined with the glide nad new rearend shold get the car well into the 9s.
  9. HAHA the "arrows" are welding magnets. they hold stuff together in different angles. that was funny
  10. what size tires are those and did you have to modify the fender openings? Mine is undergoing the same thing right now.
  11. no such thing... there is a rb20det Z31 in japan
  12. no i didnt sell mine. the motor deal i had fell thru
  13. Well thanks to AMIR.. im the proud new owner of a FRP dash with matching ultralite carbon gages. heres a pic of it in his car. should be here in a couple of days
  14. http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=551235&cat=25&val=1 here's mine there are atleast 5 others that i know of that are done maybe 3-4 others that are in work
  15. anything will fit in anything with enough cuttin and weldin. both of which you would need alot of if you want a 2jz or 7m in a 510
  16. http://www.fototime.com/ftweb/bin/ft.dll/pictures?userid={91542EA7-1092-447F-B6D5-6BEB4AF97E26}&inv=D3704447BB317FA&userid={91542EA7-1092-447F-B6D5-6BEB4AF97E26} Amir i hope you dont mind but you have a sweet car
  17. Wheeeew!!! thats a hard one to swallow. the stock piston can handle 550-600 max. Above that breaking ring lands is almost certain. 700HP requires pistons and a headgasket minimum IMHO
  18. TIG is best... they do have mig setups for stainless but not too shure for that would work
  19. Cyrus. the best way would be to cut the stainless at angles and weld back together to form your bends. cant help you with the rest of the stuff though sorry
  20. Ok this was a decent thread. I would hate to see it get locked up. Take your argument somewhere else this is not the place for it thanks
  21. Here is a video of a relatively mild rb26 in a r-31 drag car with a powerglide. looks like it works http://www.fullboost.com.au/vidzz/fullBOOST_heathcote_04_03_kojima.avi
  22. UPDATE: Im going with a Powerglide. same specs as above just a powerglide. Takes alot less HP to use it and it is light as hell. I have seen lots of video of rb powered cars using them and it works great!!!!
  23. yea the rb20 is the red headed step child cousing of teh rb26 so I guess your welcome J/K any rb swap is welcome
