  1. Let me know when you want it and i will work on getting it out.
  2. yes it has been done. Dont have any pics but yes.... but like above why? actully the setup i saw was sports injection so not a true carb setup.
  3. HAHA that is pretty much exactly where i though tit would sit. It ,ooks like a damn lawn mower engine in there :>
  4. the blue Zhas an old school carb turbo setup...3.1L 500+HP
  5. It is in good condition. I would like to sell the Clutch with the tranny. The clutch has less then 100 miles. I would like to get 700 for the tranny plus whatever it costs to ship. So a total of 1800 for the tranny and HKS twin plate clutch. I would also send the tranny mount you would have to fabricate the car side of the mount. you would also get the driveshaft which when used with the ZR200 Z31 rb20 mounts will not need to be modified.
  6. i have moved a step closer to going with an automatic so my tranny along with brand new twin plate will be for sale soon.
  7. Not a z but Its an awesome project.... this car was built in alaska specifically to offer up some competition to the my Z :> http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/tenshi_kurai23/detail?.dir=/Stuff+I+did+at+work.&.dnm=c2de.jpg dont have any particulars its been kinda under wraps. but rumor has it the car weighs 2000lbs... running a stock 2JZ with the booste turned up. once it makes a couple trips down the track the motor is getting worked and they are looking for 150MPH trap!!!!
  8. the motor or manifolds are not an issue... it's the way the downpipe comes off the manifold. a custom DP is a must
  9. scottie, Your talking suspention right? what could he do to fix it? if of course he is unleoading too quickly? Soften teh suspention? change setting on teh bars? I'm getting so damn close to getting my car in teh shop to start cutting and welding i can taste it ;>
  10. Which BTW has to be done anyways. The GTR downpipe will not fit in any of the Z applications
  11. the only thing that would hit anything is the turbo downpipe. all you would need to do is have a custom downpipe made.
  12. i betcha the oil pan sits alot lower then the lowest point on the car
  13. well if you want my opinion dont even do the swap if you are going to put the rb20 tranny in there. It is a POS and will break before the stock L tranny would. Do youself a favor get the r33 5 speed. It is much stronger and bolts right up.
  14. the driveshaft from the z31 zr-200 WILL NOT WORK!!!!! in an s30 z come on this has been answered 1000 time in other posts use the search!!! You need the driveshaft from the r33 gtst. then it will drop in.
  15. sorry your wrong. the same timeframe skyline motor came with the same valve covers. yes it is a drop in , and i dont know about the intercooler. ask a distibutor
  16. for those of you who dont know that is a zr-200 rb20 z31. that is the way they were stock in japan. this is car i got motor mounts from for my s30 rb26 swap
  17. I lost count of my swap initially i bought the motor tranny driveshaft, r-200 LSD diff, trust intercooler for 3500.00 US while i lived in japan. You will not even get a rb20 swap on the road for less then 2000.00. I would go with a l28 turbo swap or leave the car till you can afford a real swap figure what you think will cost to do a swap then double it and thats what it will cost
  18. with the zr mounts you will have clearance issues if you run the rb20 or 25 unless you run an aftermarket intake manifold similar to what is stock on the rb26 Keep in mind you are talking about a 280zx. i believe the wheelbase is different and im not sure the same setup will work in a zx that wroks in a 240-280z. so be ready and willing to do some custom fab work.
  19. roger... sorry missed that... the oil pan and pickup will work with both the rb25 and rb20..... sounds like a decent deal considering they are allready in the US.
  20. what are your prices for a rb26 without harness or cut harness? Do you know what model the rb26s came out of r32, r33, r34? thanks just an inquiry. BTW the stock oil pickup is useless because the zr rb20 pickup bolts on in the rear of the block the rb 26 bolts on in the front. the ZR pan has to modified along with a custom made oil pickup. I had the rb26 and rb20 pickup and cut up and welded to gether one that worked. there are a couple guys on this site that are making custom aluminum oil pans and pickups.
  21. I cant be of anymore help then him except to say there is a forum dedicated to the LM1 monitor http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/forums/index.php all your questions can be answered here my Klaus himself sometimes
  22. here's a screenshot of the monitor. Its not hooked up to teh monitor so not sure how it actually displays.. but looks cool
  23. dont worry about it like i said i was just being sarcastic... .wasnt trying to fight... its the thought that counts right?
  24. roger that scottie... i was being kinda sarcastic i wouldnt be spending 4K+ on the rearend to throw a set of worn out stockers up front
  25. http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=23010 It will be only slightly better then a Modifed L turbo motor. If you wanna do a 2 L do the sr 20 swap. the weight savings alone make it a great swap. The rb20 requies about teh same amount of work as a L motor to get the same power.
