  2. ok i see alot of people are using th350 and 400s... i couldnt find anything using search so maybe this is good. Is there any hammering involved in auto swap ie installing a TH400 in a 260 Z?
  3. 91 r32 rb26 they are all pretty much the same till you get to the r34 rb26. mine only had 45000K on it when i removed it and I have only put maybe another 2000Miles on it since i have owned it the last 4 years.. email me at stony7@gci.net i go as stonehac on Yahoo messenger and stony on MSN messenger.
  4. http://hybridz.org/nuke/modules.php?op=modload&name=zClassifieds&file=detail&cat=65&de=53 selling mine .... you get everything i have right now to make it run, sds, motor ect ect. All you will have to do is mount it and plumb intercooler piping. Since you allready have an rb25 that will be real easy.
  5. wow scottie didnt realize you had that car for so long as for matched performance i will be close by the end of the summer. my current setup once i get my drivetrain installed should will be in the 10s. a headgasket and a set of turbos with the booste turned up and it will be in the low 10s. You going with a FC or FD?
  6. the link to my original post and all the questions and answers is not available. Anyway to cut and paste the old thread in here or is it gone?
  7. i have 400RWHP on 92 oct. at 14 psi, i can go as hi as 17 psi on 92....rb is capable of 550 on pump gas. in japan 700 is very comon but they run leaded 98 oct gas or something like that from the pump
  8. I think this header would be perfect in your apllication... you cant see it real well but it places the turbo right where the air pump used to sit.
  9. you wont get screwed he is prabably just busy
  10. he hasnt returned my emails either i hope nothing bad happened
  11. that is the best thing about a turbo motor is its drivability when not under booste. Hanns you can get the same if not better performance buy lowering the compression and turning up the booste.... good luck.
  12. was it the metallic green one he brought back from japan. I think that was the very first car he built. 400RWHP+ out of an 1800cc CA18!!!!
  13. he sent me a picture. was it the gold color car? It looked like a celica to me
  14. bringing this one back to life because i need an oil pan. Is there anyone out there still making these? i also need a set of motor mounts
  15. nope its a celica Its a badass new celica rwd v-8 twin turbo if i remember right I had a picture but i cant find it.
  16. yea it works sent one back my email is stony7@gci.net
  17. basically what they said. If and when you do it i would stick with toyota motor unless you ahve contacts in japan to get parts
  18. Well i ordered my automatic adapter plate for the RB26 tonight. If anyone is interested in this swap i will keep this post updated on its progress along with updating my yahoo group http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/rb26dett/ I will be installing a TH350 with a 4500 stall and transbrake along with the ford 8.8 rearend. I have decided to pretty much do a full backhalve but still utilize the 15x10s with 275 50 15 BFGs.. this way down the road if i decide to go with a bigger tire i will have the room ;> more to come
  19. damn where is the edit button? I destroyed that post with typo's
  20. BTW thanks fro the info... i also found a place int eh US that sell the kit http://www.atiperformanceproducts.com/products/adapterk/akit.htm Thanks James.
  21. how much would it cost to ship it to US do you think??? ever ship anything over here before?
  22. i did finally call them. about 400 US for the adapter and some other parts. If you could translate in writing exactly whats in the kit i would appreciate it. The aussie accent over the phone was alittle hard to understand ;>. Also have you ever shipped anything from aus to US? was it expensive?
  23. I need to get in contact with Castlemine rod shop and find out how much there adapter for the rb26 to TH350 is and what all comes with it. If someone could help me out that lives in aust. that would be cool. Basically im pretty sure the adapter comes with everything i need to use a TH350 except teh converter and starter. here is the link to there site http://www.rodshop.com.au/transmissions.htm and on this page the part number is ap 65... i would also like to know if they make a bellhousing for the same application. I will call them eventually but if someone local could get the basic info for me that would be great Thanks
