It has to be the rear half of the 2 part drive shaft from a r33 gts-t with the rb25 the same car also has teh 5 speed tranny. it also HAS to be Z31 rb20 eng mounts. and everything bolts in. just the tranny mount had to be fabricated. I would not attempt this unless you have a friend in japan that can verify parts you are getting. BTW when i posted this back in 2002 that was the only option unless you made everything yourself. there are now a few other options that would be less risky and probably be cheaper when you factor in shipping

My new wheel combo in the back. Bogart drag stars 15X11 5 on 4.5 with 4 7/8 BS. these will fit much better the the 15X12 with 3 and 3/8 BS. should be here in a week or so. scored them for 350 shipped

Well just a tad bit more cleaning up the weld areas and the panel will be ready to weld on. trying to decide if i want to invest in a welder or just pay a body shop to do it. Anyways here are some pics of the panel hanging. Because the wheelbase has been extended the wheel wells will have to be stretched.

Got a call from the chassis guy. he's building me a custom fuel cell that conforms to the frame in the back.... anyways he called today to ask what size fittings i needed!!! this is cool because this means the tank is almost done. once the tank is done the rear end goes back in the car and it's ready for pickup!!!! then i get to replace the rear 1/4 panels and start re-wiring the car and installing all the plumbing :mrgreen::mrgreen: going to be a nice winter project ;>

I know its pricey and this question was geared towards the drive shaft but are you using the techno tuning rear struts? the way i understand it you should be able to buy there kit and use the complete ttt rear setup and the rear suspension out of a gtr with shortened axles will bolt in.

Is that actually possible??? An awd rb26 350Z would be a kickass project if it didn't require a lot of fabrication work. the AWD could be turned off for the fun RWD stuff then turned on at the track.

As with most v engines there is a serious lack of room. with the rb26 there is lots of options for turbos and lots of HP
