  1. Yea just tapped it. Not too bad but it did bend the wheel. and will require some body work and interior sheetmetal replacement. didnt bend anything important:emo:

  5. Okinawa is still the goal BUT Alaska is second if i don't get that. we have an awesome Japanese immersion program here and the kids are fluent in Japanese now >
  6. Yea I'm sorry that wont happen this year. track is closed down now and i PCS to Utah in December. I don't think the 4000 foot elevation will be as ET friendly as near sea level here in anchorage.
  7. Here are some good pics of the weekend
  8. I have never seen someone break the diff i Do however see people breaking the input shafts they are the weak point. And again props to you looks like it's gonna be an awesome build.
  9. I'M not trying to dog out your project it looks awesome. How fast are you trying to go. My buddies z32 ( r230 ) broke a input shaft to the diff at the track. he's at around 620rwhp. If your going to go thru all this and build a tube chassis car why not go with a ford 8.8 IRS. out of a cobra or something like that.
  10. What rearend are you going to use? I hope your not going thru all this just to mount a r200 or r230 in it???
  11. The flat black looks awesome!!!!
  12. Richard here in anchorage is a certified HKS VPro dealer and took extensive notes on my build. It literally only took 4 hours on the dyno to make 620 RWHP on the RB i have and he is willing to put something together that will be as close to plug and play as possible. If you have a similar build to mine ( big single) he could load you a map that would require minimal tuning time to get it dialed in. I just wanted to let anyone know that is looking for a stand alone that is not real good at tuning that there is this option. Once we got my issues squared away with ignition we started over on the map ( literally deleted the old map) and from start to finish took less then 4 hours. then on labor day we went from running 9.70s to 9.10 in 6 runs down the track. If i had not put it in the guard rail we would have been well into the 8s. If there is any interest in this..... post here or PM me and i will put you in contact with him. He knows what he is doing and will get you hooked up quick.
  13. The missing piece here that i didn't know is that you just need to go into your profile on the control panel and input your info. It shows up on the spreadsheet automatically
  14. I the pic above you just remove the 3 bolts that hold the piece to the block then you can just screw you filter directly to the block.
  15. On mine i just removed everything down to the block. then the oil filter screws right onto the block
  16. I wanna post my timeslip where is the database????
  17. I cant get it to open to submit a time slip???? whats up???
  18. AHHH there it is But i was more looking at just the 6 cylinder forum stuff but that will work > Wait it dosnt update. tried to but it just brings up a blank page. Who is maintaining that???
  19. Bringing this back from the dead. The link is still good but is it still being maintained?
  20. Nobody wants to post there slips????
  21. Its not that i feel safer ... I'm sure we could tune the chassis a bit to get it to stay down i just don't want to put anymore money into that car knowing I'm not going to keep it. the red car is a keeper. i will get the black car fixed and sell when i get down to Utah. BTW i did mention I'm moving to Utah didn't I?
  22. Yea i probably wont drive the black car again. Going to finish the red car with its four link and go for it.
